The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Infrastructure as Code, and modern CI/CD practices, along with a proven ability to lead teams and drive large-scale initiatives. What you will do: • Architect and implement hybrid infrastructure (on-prem → cloud) solutions • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform • Own capacity planning, scalability, and performance optimization • Support high-availability, disaster recovery, and resiliency strategies • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps • Automate deployments, patching, and system configurations • Integrate repositories and workflows across Azure and AWS ecosystems • Establish coding standards, DevOps practices, and governance models • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, infrastructure, security, and data teams • Monitor and maintain production systems and integration platforms • Ensure secure architecture, data protection, and governance best practices • Partner with security teams on cybersecurity and compliance initiatives (PCI, SOX, etc.) • Conduct periodic system, infrastructure, and security reviews • Produce detailed infrastructure diagrams, playbooks, and technical documentation • Provide executive-level reporting on system performance, risks, and capacity • Maintain documentation for configurations, systems, and processes This might describe you: • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, integration, or infrastructure roles • Proven experience as a technical lead or Lead Software Engineer • Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure services (Azure Automation, Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management) • Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services environments and repositories • Advanced experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Traverse City, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
