Comment vous aurez un impact


  • Diriger les aspects électriques et d’automatisation des projets industriels en veillant au respect des normes et règlements.
  • Préparer les demandes d’investissement en immobilisations, surveiller les budgets et évaluer les risques techniques et financiers.
  • Rédiger des spécifications techniques détaillées pour l’équipement et les systèmes.
  • Améliorer la sécurité des machines par des modifications et des analyses des risques pour la santé et la sécurité.
  • Organiser les appels d’offres et gérer l’approvisionnement pour l’installation et la modernisation des équipements.
  • Superviser la mise en service et fournir un soutien technique spécialisé pour la résolution de problèmes complexes.
  • Élaborer une logique de commande et rédiger des descriptions de programme d’automate programmable en utilisant divers langages de programmation.
  • Contribuer à la stabilité des procédés et à l’amélioration de la qualité de fabrication dans un environnement dynamique.
  • Veiller au respect des règlements, procédures et lignes directrices externes et internes applicables.

Votre parcours


  • Baccalauréat en génie électrique ou en production automatisée (profil électrique).
  • Au moins 10 ans d’expérience en fabrication.
  • Solide connaissance de l’électricité et de l’automatisation industrielle.
  • Orienté vers l’action avec une profondeur technique, une vision stratégique et un leadership.
  • Capacité à gérer de multiples projets, à résoudre des problèmes et à analyser efficacement.
  • Connaissance des systèmes d’automatisation PLC et IHM.
  • Connaissance des composants électriques industriels.
  • Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais.
  • Maîtrise d’AutoCAD.
  • Leadership démontré dans la mise en œuvre de solutions d’amélioration.
  • Le candidat doit déjà avoir une autorisation de travail qui lui permettrait de travailler pour Hitachi Energy au Canada.

The opportunity


Join a team that powers homes, schools, hospitals, and industries. As an automation and electrical Project Engineer, you’ll lead the design, implementation, and optimization of industrial projects that drive performance and safety. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-impact solutions, improve manufacturing processes, and support long-term equipment reliability. This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise, leadership, and problem-solving mindset will help shape a sustainable energy future.



How you’ll make an impact


Lead the electrical and automation aspects of industrial projects, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Prepare capital investment requests (Capex), monitor budgets, and assess technical and financial risks.

Write detailed technical specifications for equipment and systems.

Improve machine safety through modifications and health and safety risk analyses.

Organize tenders and manage procurement for equipment installation and modernization.

Oversee commissioning and provide expert technical support for complex issue resolution.

Develop control logic and write PLC program descriptions using various programming languages.

Contribute to process stability and manufacturing quality improvements in a dynamic environment.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.


Your background

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or automated production (electrical profile).

Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of electricity and industrial automation.

Action-oriented with technical depth, strategic vision, and leadership.

Ability to manage multiple projects, solve problems, and analyze effectively.

Familiarity with PLC and HMI automation systems.

Knowledge of industrial electrical components.

Fluent in French and English.

Proficient in AutoCAD.

Demonstrated leadership in implementing improvement solutions.

Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.
