The client provides claims handling services to brokers, MGAs and the consumer market, with a strong focus on liability, motor, EL/PL injury and property claims. The company is growing from the ground up, led by a founder who values flexibility, autonomy, professionalism and people who can work on their own initiative.


Location: Remote in Ireland

Salary: €26K / €30K for part - time.


The Role

We are looking for an experienced claims handler to take ownership of two portfolios: a liability claims portfolio and a broker claims portfolio. This is a genuinely flexible, fully remote position. Your working hours are shaped around your own schedule , what matters is that the work is done well and that you stay on top of your portfolio.


The role can be structured as part-time or full-time, depending on the right candidate.


Key responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of liability claims for clients with large deductibles.
  • Investigate liability, pursue early settlements and maintain continuous client communication.
  • Handle all interactions with the Injuries Resolution Board (IRB), including consenting to assessments, accepting or rejecting awards, and requesting relevant fees and payments.
  • Maintain accurate reserves and prepare quarterly bordereaux for insurers.

Broker Portfolio

  • Act as the outsourced claims department for brokers across motor, EL and PL claims.
  • Manage all items in the claims inbox, from notification through to settlement.
  • Guide policyholders through the claims process and answer their queries throughout the claim lifecycle.
  • Report claims to insurers and gather additional information as required.
  • Keep files up to date and ensure regular progress reviews.
  • Make representations on behalf of clients when needed.
  • Prepare monthly claims reports and pre-renewal claim reviews for large clients.


About you

  • CIP-qualified.
  • Strong experience handling liability, motor and EL/PL injury claims; some property claims experience is an advantage.
  • A solid understanding of the full claims process, including IRB/ARB procedures.
  • Experienced and comfortable working independently – this role suits someone with a well-established claims background.
  • Professional, hardworking and proactive, with the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Someone who values flexibility and remote working.
