Position Overview

Role Overview: The Inside Sales Representative supports and assists the Sales Representative/Director in increasing sales volume and expanding customer and market penetration for new business within an assigned territory of the Annie Selke wholesale division. The role also responds to customer service inquiries, resolves complaints, and partners with territory representatives to identify sales opportunities and deliver a high level of customer support. Some assigned territories may require regular evening hours.

Essential Job Functions

· Use company systems to provide updates and manage orders daily.

· Provide proactive support and service in all customer interactions, including new catalog receipt, shipment status, MRL and NR communications, new-product introductions, and marketing or merchandising suggestions.

· Collaborate closely with territory representatives to increase sales and achieve territory goals.

· Analyze sales across brokers, accounts, product lines, and sales programs to identify trends and act on opportunities that maximize sales.

· Support territory representatives’ participation in regional trade shows, customer demonstrations, and educational tours.

· Conduct outbound calls to meet established territory goals, including seasonal upselling, new-product introductions, and promotional opportunities.

· Proactively manage customer complaints and provide solutions for issues such as incorrect items, damaged shipments, and shipping costs.

· Manage customer feedback and centralize reseller product and service inquiries.

· Perform other job duties as assigned and follow all company safety policies and procedures.

You Have

· Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

· At least three years of customer service and/or sales experience.

· Excellent customer service and sales skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers at all levels, determine needs, resolve issues, and support sales opportunities.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheet applications.

Preferred Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

· Customer service and/or sales experience in the consumer goods market.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly spreadsheet applications.

Additional Information:

· Some assigned territories may require regular evening hours.

· May periodically be required to work more than 40 hours per week as business needs require.

· Occasional travel for sales-related business, including future trade shows.

· Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
