Making Canada a safer place to live and work for over 90 years.
As Canada's trusted safety partner since 1935, we work alongside customers coast to coast to help ensure people return home safely at the end of every shift.
At Levitt-Safety, our customers rely on us to keep their people, workplaces and equipment safe. As an Inside Service Sales Specialist, you'll play an important role in making that happen.
This isn't a traditional inside sales role where you're simply making calls and chasing numbers. You'll combine sales, customer relationship management and service support to help existing customers get the services they need, uncover new opportunities and keep work moving smoothly with our Service Teams.
You'll build relationships with customers, understand their needs, recommend the right service solutions, prepare and follow up on quotes, and work closely with our Service and Sales teams to turn opportunities into business.
You'll also have the opportunity to grow existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling while developing new customer relationships across Canada.
What you'll be doing
- Connect with existing and prospective customers by phone and email to understand their needs and identify service opportunities.
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships and become a trusted point of contact for Levitt-Safety's service offering.
- Identify opportunities to expand the services we provide to existing customers and introduce Levitt-Safety to new customers.
- Recommend service solutions based on customer needs, industry requirements, compliance considerations and equipment/service lifecycles.
- Prepare, present and follow up on service quotes, helping move opportunities from initial conversation through to close.
- Work closely with Service Managers, Service Teams, Field Sales and Customer Service to coordinate customer needs and ensure a smooth handoff and service experience.
- Support customers with service-related questions, requests and follow-up, helping resolve issues and keep things moving.
- Use Salesforce CRM to document customer interactions, manage leads and opportunities, maintain accurate account information and build a healthy sales pipeline.
- Monitor customer and service activity to identify opportunities for additional business and stronger account relationships.
- Participate in outbound campaigns, customer follow-up and other initiatives designed to generate new service opportunities.
- Stay current on Levitt-Safety's service offerings, market trends and customer needs so you can have informed conversations and make relevant recommendations.
- Occasionally participate in customer events, trade shows, training, mine rescue competitions or other activities that support our customers and business.
- Contribute to a team-first environment and support other duties as required.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and finding opportunities. You may come from sales, customer service, account management, service administration or a technical/service background.
You'll bring:
- Experience in sales, customer service, account management or a related customer-facing role.
- Strong communication, listening and relationship-building skills.
- A customer-focused, solutions-oriented approach.
- Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confidence using CRM and Microsoft Office systems; Salesforce experience is an asset.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams across Canada.
- Experience in fire and life safety, OHS, industrial or technical services, or another B2B service environment is an asset, but not required.
- French/English bilingualism is an asset, particularly for supporting customers in Québec.
Why you'll like this role
- Annual base salary of $60,000-$65,000 + annual bonus.
- Opportunity to work remote with the flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada, ideally near a Levitt-Safety branch.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including three weeks vacation per year plus other paid time off.
- Work closely with Service, Sales, Customer Service and Marketing teams across Canada.
- Help customers meet their safety and compliance needs while supporting our goal of helping people get home safely at the end of the day.
