Inspector (Solar)

Are you an experienced professional with a background in quality control and renewable energy industry? We are seeking a top‑tier Inspectors to join our Inspection team. You will be joining STS, a leading group in the global renewable energy sector. With operations in fourteen countries across North America, Europe, and Asia, our team is made up of dedicated professionals who share a passion for technology, quality, and sustainability.

Position Overview

As an Inspector, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing pre‑dispatch (production supervision, factory acceptance tests, pre‑shipment inspections) and post‑dispatch inspections for renewable energy equipment (solar modules, energy storage systems, wind turbines, inverters).

Key Responsibilities

‑ Understand the inspection plan and checklist content after being trained to the projects requirements.

‑ Participate to the project opening meeting to brief the supplier on the scope, inspection rules and schedule.

‑ Verify the conditions on site (5M methodology) prior to performing the inspection.

‑ Witness the testing progress by analyzing measurement and filling‑in the checklist for each item to be inspected.

‑ Monitor the testing lead time to ensure the completion within the agreed schedule.

‑ Report to the Project Manager the findings observed on site during the inspection.

‑ Fill‑in the inspection report, based on the format prepared by the Service Engineering team.

‑ Suggest ameliorations to the supplier to improve the inspected product and the testing conditions.

‑ Propose improvement of the inspection methodology.

Qualifications and Experience

‑ Bachelor in a technical field, or above, preferably in renewable energy or a related field.

‑ At least 5 years of relevant experience in PV module manufacturing, quality department is preferred.

‑ 80+% of time on the inspection site is requested.

‑ Capability for travelling abroad/internationally.

-Fluent English communication.
