Internal Opportunity: Inspector Transfer Process At CQC, we want to ensure we have a skilled, integrated and engaged workforce. We recognise that some colleagues wish to remain within their current role while developing their experience in a different specialism. The Inspector Transfer Process has been designed to support this by providing a fair and transparent route for colleagues to request a transfer into another inspection directorate. This process applies if: You are confirmed as permanent in your Inspector role, have a permanent contract and have successfully completed your probation period and want to transfer to the same role in a different sector specialism with no change of job title/description. This process does not apply if: You are currently subject to a performance management, capability or conduct process, either informally or formally. Operations: You wish to transfer to or from a Registration Inspector, Specialist Inspector etc (for example, Oral Health Inspectors, Children’s Services and Medicines Inspectors). You wish to remain in your current role and specialism, however you wish to move to another geographical location due to relocating. This will be managed by our colleagues with the Hub. Please direct those queries to operationsresourcing@cqc.org.uk. Please refer to the Inspector Transfer Process Guide for full details of the process, eligibility criteria, timelines, and key considerations before submitting your request. How to Apply To be considered for a transfer opportunity, applicants must: Review the Inspector Transfer Process Guide in full. Complete the Transfer Request Form. Ensure the form is fully completed and approved by your Line Manager and your Deputy Director **Failure to provide a fully completed and approved form will mean that we are unable to process your application, and it will not be progressed further** Further Information If you require you would like to discuss a potential transfer, or have any questions before applying, please contact the designated Resourcing Officer for your directorate: Adult Social Care & Integrated Care - Vicky Berry Hospitals, Secondary & Specialist Care - Heather Campbell Mental Health - Lucy Bradley & Rachel Ralphson Primary and Community care - Joanne Lennon
