About This Role SpartanX is seeking an experienced Install Manager to lead residential solar installation operations across active markets. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing installation crews, driving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The Install Manager serves as the operational leader for field installations, providing coaching, accountability, and support while collaborating with internal departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with extensive residential solar installation experience who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. What You'll Do Installation Operations Oversee daily residential solar installation operations Manage installation schedules, crew assignments, and project priorities Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to SpartanX quality standards Monitor installation progress and proactively resolve field issues Verify projects are installation-ready before dispatching crews Ensure installations comply with company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local code requirements Team Leadership Recruit, train, coach, and develop installation crews Conduct ride-alongs, jobsite visits, and performance evaluations Establish productivity expectations and hold teams accountable to performance goals Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement Assist with workforce planning and manpower allocation Quality & Safety Conduct field quality inspections and installation audits Ensure all crews follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies Identify recurring installation issues and implement corrective actions Reduce callbacks, warranty work, and installation defects through continuous quality improvement Cross-Department Collaboration Partner with Scheduling, Service, Electrical, Permitting, Design, Engineering, and Inspections to keep projects moving Communicate project updates and operational challenges to leadership Support service escalations and installation-related troubleshooting Monitor operational KPIs and recommend process improvements Qualifications Previous residential solar installation experience required Previous installation leadership or management experience required Strong understanding of residential solar construction, roofing, and electrical systems Proven ability to lead and motivate field teams Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong troubleshooting and decision-making abilities Exceptional communication and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Proficiency with mobile technology, project management platforms, and CRM systems Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Preferred Qualifications Previous Install Manager or Field Operations Manager experience NABCEP certification OSHA 30 certification Electrical or roofing background Experience managing multiple installation crews across several markets Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Bonus Structure Opportunities for advancement within a rapidly growing solar company Team-focused culture built on accountability, professionalism, and operational excellence Leadership role with direct impact on operational performance and customer satisfaction Ongoing leadership development and professional training Why SpartanX?
