About Techedify
Techedify is an educational technology and Generative AI consulting company helping schools, businesses, and communities thrive in a tech-centric world.
We build SparkEd, our Learning Experience Platform (LXP), and deliver learning programs across academic and corporate settings. We work across US and Philippine teams, which means our learning content has to travel well - clear, credible, and contextually right for whoever opens it.
The Role
We're hiring an Instructional Designer to own learning design end to end: from needs analysis and SME discovery through storyboarding, build, QA, and post-launch iteration on SparkEd.
This is a design role, not a content-formatting role. You'll shape how courses teach - the sequencing, the assessments, the reasons a learner keeps going - and you'll be the person who decides when a course is actually ready to ship.
You'll coordinate with US and PH stakeholders on subject matter and delivery, and with our developers on the platform side.
You'll report to our Head of Product Development. We're looking to fill this role as soon as possible.
What you'll do
Design and build
• Run needs analyses and SME interviews to define measurable learning objectives
• Design full courses - outlines, storyboards, scripts, activities, assessments, and rubrics
• Sequence content so that practice, feedback, and assessment actually reinforce the objectives
• Build and publish courses in SparkEd, our LXP
Adapt and QA
• Adapt client courses to the LXP within the committed timeline, ensuring quality and engaging content and course flow
• Own quality assurance before release: instructional soundness, factual accuracy, media and interaction behavior, and assessment logic
• Maintain and enforce a content style guide and QA checklist so quality doesn't depend on who happened to build the course
Collaborate
• Coordinate with US and PH stakeholders across timelines, review cycles, and sign-offs - including keeping decisions documented so async work doesn't stall
• Work directly with developers on content adaptation: flag where the platform limits the learning design, spec what's needed, test what ships, and prioritize sensibly
• Give and take design feedback with other designers and SMEs
Measure and improve
• Define success measures for each course and review completion, assessment, and engagement data after launch
• Turn that data into concrete revisions, not just reports
What we're looking for
Required
• 3+ years in instructional design, with real experience in both academe and corporate L&D - you understand curriculum rigour and business constraints
• Background in an EdTech or platform environment - you've worked on learning products, not only learning content
• Excellent written and spoken English; comfortable presenting design decisions to US stakeholders
• Experience working with distributed teams across time zones
• Able to work 3:00 AM - 12:00 NN PHT, with flexibility within that window
Nice to have
• GenAI credentials or certifications, and demonstrated use of AI in the design workflow - drafting, media generation, assessment item banks, localization
• Vibe coding experience - comfortable building small tools, prototypes, or content automations with AI assistance
• Working knowledge of LMS/LXP publishing standards - SCORM, xAPI, or equivalent
• Fluency with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Rise, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia
• Video, audio, or graphics production (Figma, Canva, Premiere, After Effects)
• Experience localizing content for multiple markets
What we offer
• Full-time employment, fully remote within the Philippines
• Night shift differential on top of base pay
• Flexibility within the 3 AM - 12 NN window - set the schedule that works, as long as overlap holds
• Direct collaboration with US stakeholders and real ownership of learning outcomes on a growing platform
• Work at the intersection of education and Generative AI, with room to shape how instructional design works here rather than inheriting someone else's process
How to apply
Email your updated resume to [email protected].
If you have course samples, please include 1-2 - and for at least one, tell us in a line or two: who the learners were, what problem the course solved, and what you'd change if you built it again. It's optional, but it's the fastest way to show us how you think.
