Role Description The Insurance Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting clients with insurance-related needs and inquiries. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and processing insurance documents, coordinating with insurance carriers and brokerages, and verifying coverage details and policy accuracy. The role involves answering customer questions, providing clear explanations of insurance products, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. The Insurance Specialist also collaborates with internal teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, maintains accurate records, and contributes to process improvements that enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Insurance and Insurance Brokerage, including policy structures, coverage types, and basic regulatory considerations.
• Foundational understanding of Finance as it relates to premiums, claims, and billing processes.
• Excellent Communication skills with a focus on clear, concise, and professional written and verbal interactions.
• Proven Customer Service skills, including empathy, responsiveness, and problem-solving in client-facing situations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documents, data entry, and record keeping.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Proficiency with common office software and digital collaboration tools; experience with insurance management systems is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in insurance, finance, or a related field; a degree or certification in business, finance, or insurance is beneficial.
