Pay and hours

• USD $10/hour to start, $11/hour after 60 days, performance raise at one year — about $1,730/month to start.
• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM U.S. Eastern (8 paid hours, 30-minute lunch).
• Fully remote. Paid in USD by invoice. No paid time off.

Working hours in your time zone:

Mexico City / San José: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (March–early November) or 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (November–March).

Bogotá: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (March–early November) or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (November–March).

Buenos Aires: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (March–early November) or 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM (November–March).

The company

CT Mediation Center (https://www.ctmediationcenter.com/) has helped Connecticut couples divorce without going to court since 2005. It's the only firm in the state dedicated 100% to no-litigation divorce, with a team of attorney-mediators, a retired judge, and divorce financial analysts across eleven offices and online. Every case starts with a free 30-minute consultation — booking those is the heart of this role.

The job

You're the first human contact for people who may not have said the word "divorce" out loud yet. The first five minutes decide whether they book a consultation or go back to searching alone. It's a sales role, but nobody is buying a product — you win by being useful and straight, not by pushing.

• Answer inbound calls, emails, and web inquiries; explain how mediation works; book and reschedule consultations.
• Follow up by phone on every inquiry that goes quiet — more than once, without being a pest.
• Own every case in GoHighLevel from first contact to close; keep both spouses and the mediators informed.
• After close, prompt the mediator to request a review and send up to two reminders on their behalf.

You stay neutral between both spouses, you don't answer legal questions but stay helpful anyway, and if a call raises a safety concern you bring it to a mediator instead of booking. No script, no call monitoring, no dial quota.

What we're looking for

• Near-native spoken English — warm and natural on the phone with U.S. clients all day. First thing we screen for.
• 2+ years on the phone in intake, consultative sales, or coordination — ideally where people call you on a bad day (therapy, dental, veterinary, insurance, admissions).
• Clean CRM habits. GoHighLevel is a plus, not a must.
• Real remote work history, not a first attempt at it.

Independent contractor & remote work requirements

• Contractor status: The candidate will be hired as an independent contractor.
• Equipment and internet: The candidate is responsible for providing their own computer, stable internet connection, and quiet remote work environment.
• Benefits and taxes: As an independent contractor, the candidate is responsible for their own benefits, taxes, and any other statutory obligations in their country of residence.
