INTAKE & SCHEDULING SPECIALIST Remote | South Africa Working Hours: 12:00 AM – 5:00 AM SAST US Hours: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM EST Part-Time to Start | Potential for More Hours About the Role We are looking for an experienced Intake & Scheduling Specialist to support a growing US-based ABA/behavioral healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in intake, scheduling, patient coordination, or healthcare administration . ABA experience is highly preferred , but candidates with strong general healthcare intake and scheduling experience will also be considered. Key Responsibilities Handle new patient/client intake and gather required information Respond to inquiries from families, patients, and referral sources Schedule and coordinate appointments and services Maintain accurate patient/client records Follow up on referrals and outstanding information Coordinate schedules with clinical and administrative teams Communicate professionally with families and healthcare professionals Assist with general administrative and intake-related duties Ensure a smooth and professional experience from initial inquiry through scheduling Requirements Previous experience in intake, scheduling, healthcare administration, or a similar role ABA/behavioral healthcare experience is highly advantageous Excellent spoken and written English Strong telephone and communication skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable working with patient/client information Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly Professional, friendly and confident manner Able to work independently in a remote environment Available to work 12:00 AM – 5:00 AM SAST Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate would have ABA experience , particularly in: Intake coordination Client onboarding Scheduling Referral coordination Family communication ABA therapy services However, strong candidates from general medical/healthcare intake and scheduling backgrounds will also be considered.
