The Gig: How You’ll Make an Impact Our Marketing team is looking for an Integrated Marketing Contractor to lead creative and campaign strategy across paid and organic channels. The contractor will work a minimum 30 hours per week. This is an initial six-month contract engagement, with the option to extend based on business needs. We need an experienced integrated marketer who can connect brand storytelling with performance marketing.You’ll translate business priorities, customer insights, and cultural trends into compelling campaign strategies that work across the customer journey. You’ll bring a strong point of view, create clarity across teams, and ensure our paid and organic efforts come together as one cohesive brand experience. You’ll operate as a strategic owner—developing campaign narratives, shaping creative direction, leading cross-functional planning, and leveraging performance insights into stronger creative work. You should be equally comfortable building a high-level campaign strategy, writing a clear creative brief, reviewing work, and digging into results to identify what we should do next. You’ll report to VP Acquisition Marketing and work closely with Brand, Creative, Media, Lifecycle, Social, Product Marketing, E-commerce, and external agency partners. This role is remote-friendly but must be based in the U.S. or Canada. Hatch is based in California, so we ask that you’re available during PST/PDT hours. What You’ll Do 📆 Projects Lead integrated campaign strategy across paid and organic channels, ensuring each campaign supports Hatch’s brand, customer, and growth objectives. Translate business goals, product priorities, and customer insights into clear campaign narratives and compelling creative territories. Develop creative briefs that give internal teams and agency partners the strategic clarity needed to produce distinctive, effective work. Collaborate with paid and organic channels to adapt creative and messaging to the audience, format, and placement while maintaining a cohesive brand story. Partner closely with Creative to guide concept development, provide actionable feedback, and ensure work is strategically sound, channel-appropriate, and aligned with the Hatch brand. Lead integrated campaign kickoffs, and cross-functional working sessions, keeping stakeholders aligned on strategy, responsibilities, timelines, and decisions. Manage and maintain the growth marketing calendar, ensuring alignment with the global marketing calendar and key milestones across concurrent initiatives. Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities. Review campaign performance across paid and organic channels and translate results into clear insights and recommendations for future creative and campaigns. Balance brand priorities with financial goals when developing creative strategies, ensuring campaigns strengthen long-term customer affinity while delivering measurable business results. Present campaign strategies, creative recommendations, performance insights, and post-campaign learnings to senior leaders and cross-functional partners. 🚀 Wishlist Create an integrated campaign planning framework that clarifies how paid, owned, and organic channels work together throughout the customer journey. What You’ll Bring 10+ years of experience in integrated marketing, growth marketing, campaign strategy, brand strategy, creative strategy, or a related marketing discipline. Demonstrated experience leading integrated campaigns across both paid and organic channels, ideally for a consumer, lifestyle, wellness, technology, or direct-to-consumer brand. A strong portfolio of campaigns that shows how you have translated customer insights and business objectives into creative strategies and measurable results. Deep understanding of how creative and messaging should adapt across paid social, organic social, digital video, search, email, web, content, influencer, and other customer touchpoints. Experience developing creative briefs, messaging frameworks, campaign narratives, channel strategies, and testing roadmaps. Strong knowledge of full-funnel marketing, including awareness, consideration, conversion, retention, and advocacy. Experience partnering with internal creative teams, media teams, channel owners, and external agencies to deliver integrated work. Ability to interpret paid and organic performance data and turn results into actionable creative and campaign recommendations. Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, timelines, stakeholders, and dependencies. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with an ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders at different levels. Strong understanding of consumer behavior, cultural trends, social platforms, and the evolving media landscape. The ability to ramp quickly, work autonomously, and deliver high-quality strategic thinking in a contract capacity.
