Integration Developer (.NET) Design the architecture. Lead the delivery. Set the standard for the team behind you. Integration Developer work at J4RVIS means you’re not waiting for an architect to hand you a design. You’ll shape the solution, make the technical calls and own the outcome across complex enterprise environments. We’re looking for a .NET Integration Developer with strong C# and .NET experience who has delivered real system-to-system integrations and can point to their impact. You’ll build APIs, Azure Functions, and event-driven services that are reliable, scalable, and built for production. You’ll work closely with clients, architects, and engineers across Australia and the Philippines, so strong communication, proactivity, and the right attitude matter. If you’re ready to move beyond execution and take real ownership, this is the role. About J4RVIS J4RVIS brings humans and technology together - for businesses built on relationships. We're a consulting business at our core, guiding enterprises through transformation by listening first, then building technology that makes people more capable, not redundant. Since launching in 2020, we've grown to a team of 110+ people across Australia and the Philippines. We hold Salesforce Summit Partner status alongside partnerships with Anthropic, ElevenLabs, Snowflake, and AWS - spanning business systems, data and integration, conversational AI, and agentic automation. We've been recognised as a Deloitte Fast 50 “Rising Star”, CRN Fast 50, and Great Place to Work in both countries. But the awards describe where we've been, not where we're going. We go deep in the industries we serve: media, financial services, energy and utilities, because domain expertise is what makes the technology work. We measure success by three business outcomes: customer experience transformation, operational efficiency, and revenue generation. Not hours billed. AI is central to what we do. We deploy Agentforce at scale, build conversational AI, and develop intelligent automation already running in production. Every team is augmented by AI, and every consultant is developing toward advisory, not just delivery. We're on a growth spurt to further scale with an APAC expansion underway and a strategy that's locked in. If you want to be part of a firm that's building something that endures, where the culture is real and the ambition is high then this is an exciting time to join. We're still early in our journey, and that's what makes this an exciting time to join. Why This Role Exists Our Data & Integration practice builds the layer that connects enterprise systems and makes data usable. Most of that work runs on MuleSoft today. Clients are increasingly asking us to build and integrate custom services on the Microsoft stack, and this role exists to meet that demand. You will build .NET services that move data between systems: Web APIs, Azure Functions, and event-driven components that have to be correct under load and easy to operate at 2am. This is backend integration engineering. It is not front-end or full-stack product work, and the APIs you build are consumed by other systems rather than by a user interface. You will work in a nearshore delivery team alongside architects and engineers in Australia and the Philippines, under one set of standards and one governance framework. The Philippines team is not a support function here. It delivers across every service line we run What You'll Be Doing •Build and maintain .NET Web APIs that integrate enterprise systems, including contract design, versioning, and error handling. • Design and implement event-driven services on Azure Service Bus or a comparable broker: queues, topics, subscriptions, dead-letter handling, and retry strategy. • Develop, deploy, and tune Azure Functions for event-triggered and scheduled processing. • Turn integration requirements into technical designs, covering interface contracts, sequencing, failure modes, and non-functional requirements. • Write unit tests in xUnit to an agreed coverage level, and integration tests where the risk warrants them. • Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for build, test, and deployment across environments. • Support system testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and the hypercare period after go-live. • Contribute to estimates, statements of work, and technical documentation. • Review your teammates' code and hold the team to a consistent standard. What We're Looking For Must-have: Three or more years building production software in C# and .NET. We care much more about depth in the essentials below than about a long list of platforms. Essential • C#: strong working command of the language, including async and await, LINQ, dependency injection, and the task-based patterns that integration code lives on. • .NET Web APIs on .NET 8 or later: REST, JSON, versioning, and API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and TLS. You can explain the choices you made, not only the code you wrote. Strongly preferred • Azure Functions on .NET 8 or later, isolated worker model, with a working understanding of triggers, bindings, hosting plans, and cold start behaviour. • Message brokers in production, ideally Azure Service Bus. Solid Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Amazon SQS and SNS experience transfers if you can talk through the trade-offs. • Event-driven architecture in practice: idempotency, message ordering, at-least-once delivery, poison messages, and eventual consistency. We are looking for people who have handled these problems in production. •System-to-system integration: connecting CRM, ERP, finance, or line-of-business platforms, rather than building APIs to serve a front end. Nice-to-have • xUnit, with mocking and a genuine testing habit. • Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, or equivalent CI and CD on GitHub Actions or Jenkins. • Git branching and pull request discipline. • Agile delivery, and comfort working directly with client teams. • Azure certification such as AZ-204 or AZ-305. • Exposure to MuleSoft, Salesforce, or Snowflake, given the environments our clients run.
