About Us

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), approximately 5% of adults in high-income countries are misdiagnosed during out-patient appointments each year and over half of these misdiagnosis cases could have caused life-changing harm. At Nexuses, we believe making the best use of resources around us starts with an individual, we help patients get the ideal medical treatment with the help of their medical data.

We are looking for passionate and driven Interaction Designer interns to help us achieve this vision.

Who Are We Looking For?

As an interaction designer, you are responsible for the design and usability of prototypes and products that will have a direct impact towards patients getting the ideal medical treatment. You will create user interfaces that are easy to understand and pleasant to use, providing a positive and meaningful experience at every step. You are someone who values user experience, and you enjoy conducting user research, creating prototypes, and conducting testing. You see Design Thinking as more than just a trendy phrase; it is an important method for creating detailed visual designs that will result in products that patients and healthcare professionals will enjoy using.

What Will You Do?

As an Interaction Designer in our product team, you will work in close collaboration with all other disciplines and experience real agile software development. You will have the opportunity to conceptualise, design and test mobile apps, and web applications from the get-go. You will work in a fast-paced agile environment focused on delivering quality and valuable products. You will be a key member of a team that builds innovative products that will change patients’ lives.

You have the opportunity to grow and gain experience in an early-stage start-up supported by the Malaysian Ministry of Science Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), UnternehmerTUM, Microsoft, MongoDB etc.

What You Will Do:

• Apply your creative thinking to create a product with a great user experience that users adore.
• Execute ideal user research methodologies and run user tests to deliver valuable insights to team members.
• Develop concept sketches, prototypes (low- and high-fidelity) and visual designs and carry out rapid prototyping and product design sketches of different stages of the product to push the team to continuously implement user tests and to create great user experiences.
• Collaborate with the other members of the team on the journey from the problem space to the product.
• Learn and exercise agile development principles.
