Essential duties and responsibilities: Intercompany Transactions (50%) Process intercompany invoices, credit memos, chargebacks, and cross-charge transactions among global entities. Create, review, and manage intercompany transactions using Oracle Intercompany, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable modules. Maintain intercompany invoice logs, settlement schedules, payment tracking records, and supporting documentation. Distribute intercompany invoices and supporting schedules to affiliate entities and respond to related inquiries. Coordinate and process periodic intercompany settlements and cash transfers. Research and resolve transaction discrepancies, Oracle workflow issues, and system exceptions. Intercompany Reconciliations (20%) Prepare monthly reconciliations of intercompany receivable, payable, accrual, clearing, and other related accounts. Ensure intercompany balances are reconciled and matched across global entities before period close. Prepare and distribute intercompany balance confirmations and coordinate resolution of reconciling differences. Investigate and resolve aged balancing items and account discrepancies in a timely manner. Maintain supporting documentation for reconciliations in accordance with company policies and SOX requirements. Coordinate reconciliation activities with accounting personnel across multiple international locations. Intercompany Allocations and Cross Charges (20%) Prepare and process recurring intercompany allocations and cross charges, including shared services, IT, facilities, insurance, commissions, employee benefits, payroll-related costs, and other corporate expenses. Collaborate with business partners to validate allocation methodologies, supporting calculations, and billing amounts. Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, and automate intercompany accounting processes. Month-End, Quarter-End, and Year-End Close (10%) Prepare, review, and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries related to intercompany accounting activities. Record accruals and adjustments related to allocations, cross charges, settlements, and shared service costs. Skills/Technical Requirements Strong understanding of accounting principles and intercompany accounting concepts. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP. Experience with Oracle ERP or similar enterprise financial systems preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with domestic and international accounting and finance teams. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably with intercompany accounting responsibilities. Experience with Manufacturing environments preferred. Experience working with multinational organizations and global business partners preferred. Job Conditions : Hybrid office environment with regular interaction with domestic and international business partners. Occasional schedule flexibility may be required to support global teams and critical close activities. Compensation: The estimated base pay range for this position is $72,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, education, and other job-related factors. This range represents Cohu’s good faith estimate of what it reasonably expects to pay for this role upon hire. This role may also be eligible for other compensation programs as determined by company policy.
