CACI is preparing for an exciting modernization effort with the Department of Veterans Affairs. This new program will be a transformational initiative that will reshape how the VA manages acquisition, contracting, and enterprise-wide data. As the VA moves toward a modern, secure, and integrated CMS environment, our team will play a pivotal role in delivering the technology, expertise, and innovative problem solving required to support the nation’s veterans.

CACI is building a team of experts who thrive in challenging modernization environments as this program calls for high-impact technical leaders, forward-thinking engineers and mission-focused professionals. We are currently hiring a Senior Interface Analyst to join this dynamic team.

The Senior Interface Analyst will serve as the technical lead for system integration strategy, architecture, and implementation across a Federal enterprise acquisition system modernization. This senior role requires deep expertise in enterprise integration patterns, Federal financial and acquisition systems, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex interface development supporting 26,000+ users and 18+ critical system integrations.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise integration strategy and architecture across financial systems, Federal platforms (SAM.gov, FPDS-NG, eBuy), and internal applications
• Establish integration standards, patterns, and governance framework including Interface Project Management Plan and reusable integration architecture
• Conduct As-Is/To-Be analysis for complex multi-system integrations, defining interface strategy and technical approach
• Lead development of Interface Control Documents (ICDs), defining data mappings, transformation rules, error handling, and reconciliation logic
• Architect integration solutions leveraging Appian Connected Systems, APIs, web services, and middleware patterns
• Coordinate with government interface partners, technical architects, and external system owners to establish integration requirements and dependencies
• Lead Interface Integrated Testing (IIT) strategy and execution, ensuring comprehensive validation before System Integration Testing (SIT) and UAT
• Define and implement interface monitoring, exception handling, and operational support procedures
• Provide technical leadership to interface development teams, reviewing designs and ensuring alignment to enterprise standards
• Mentor mid-level and junior interface analysts on integration best practices, Federal system knowledge, and technical analysis techniques
• Drive process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to standardize and accelerate interface delivery
  

Qualifications:
Required:

• US Citizen with ability to pass Tier 2 background investigation
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study
• 10+ years of experience in systems analysis or integration, with at least 5 years leading interface development or enterprise integration projects
• Expert knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, API architectures, and system-to-system data exchange
• Proven experience leading complex interface development across multiple systems and platforms
• Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders and technical teams

Desired:

• Experience leading Federal financial system integrations
• Deep knowledge of Federal acquisition lifecycle, contracting processes, and FAR/VAAR compliance
• Expertise with API technologies (REST, SOAP, OpenAPI), integration middleware, and enterprise service bus architectures
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with complex data transformation logic
• Experience with Appian platform integration capabilities (Connected Systems, Integration Objects, Data Fabric)
• Knowledge of Azure integration services (Logic Apps, Data Factory, API Management)
• Experience with Federal system integration protocols and security patterns
• Background leading Agile interface delivery teams in large-scale Federal modernization programs
• Experience developing Interface Project Management Plans and integration governance frameworks
• Proven track record mentoring junior staff and building high-performing integration teams
• Understanding of Federal data standards, security requirements, and ATO processes

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$105,100-$231,100
