Help shape the future of our customer and data architecture.

At Mijndomein, we're building the next generation of our digital commerce and customer platforms. As we transition to Nucleus, our new central platform for commerce, customer journeys and subscription management, we're looking for an experienced Interim HubSpot & Data Integration Architect to help us get the architecture right.

And this isn't just another migration.

We're taking the opportunity to rethink how HubSpot connects with our wider technology landscape, simplify existing integrations and create a scalable, maintainable data architecture.

That's where you come in.

You'll take ownership of the HubSpot integration workstream, connecting the dots between HubSpot, Nucleus and our developing BI/data platform.

From assessing existing integrations to designing and implementing new solutions, you'll work closely with our Product, Development and BI teams to turn architectural decisions into working solutions.

This is a hands-on architecture role. You'll have the freedom to challenge existing approaches, influence technical decisions and help build something that lasts beyond the migration.

What you'll be working on

You'll play a key role in shaping and delivering our future integration architecture.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Explore & assess: Review our existing HubSpot environment, integrations and data flows to identify dependencies, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

  • Design & simplify: Define a scalable integration architecture connecting HubSpot, Nucleus and our BI/data platform, avoiding unnecessary duplication.

  • Create clarity: Establish data ownership, source-of-truth principles, mappings and synchronisation rules.

  • Build & implement: Translate architectural decisions into practical solutions, configuring HubSpot and developing or supporting integrations where needed.

  • Collaborate: Work directly with developers, BI engineers, product owners and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.

  • Deliver & validate: Support testing, migration and production readiness, ensuring reliable data exchange between systems.

  • Share knowledge: Document the architecture and ensure a smooth handover to our internal teams.

Our production go-live is planned for mid-December 2026, so you'll be joining at an exciting and important moment.

By the end of the assignment, we aim to have a validated integration architecture, production-ready integrations and clear documentation that our teams can build upon.

Why this project?

Because you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference.

Rather than maintaining an existing setup, you'll help shape how HubSpot fits into an evolving technology landscape.

You'll work with teams who are actively building the new platform, contribute to meaningful architectural decisions and see your work move into production.

We value people who take ownership, challenge assumptions and turn complex problems into practical solutions.

If you enjoy combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, this project offers plenty of opportunities to do both.

What you bring

We're looking for someone who combines strong HubSpot expertise with a solid understanding of system integrations and data architecture.

What matters most:

  • Proven experience working with complex HubSpot environments, including CRM objects, custom objects, properties, workflows and APIs.

  • Strong knowledge of API integrations, data synchronisation and system architecture.

  • Experience designing, improving or implementing CRM integrations or platform migrations.

  • Understanding of data ownership, source-of-truth principles and reliable data exchange.

  • The ability to translate architectural decisions into practical implementation.

  • Confidence working with technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • A hands-on, pragmatic approach to problem-solving and delivery.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with modern BI/data platforms, data pipelines or analytical architectures.

  • Familiarity with subscription-based businesses, SaaS, hosting or e-commerce.

  • Experience working in environments with multiple interconnected platforms.

You don't need to tick every box. If you have strong HubSpot integration experience and the architectural mindset to connect systems effectively, we'd love to hear from you.

Practical details

Because of our migration timeline, we're looking for someone who:

  • Can start as soon as possible.

  • Is available for at least 3–4 days per week until the end of December 2026.

  • Can work onsite at our Almere office approximately 3–4 days per week during the initial assessment and architecture phase.

  • Is open to a more hybrid setup once the architecture is established and implementation is progressing.

There may be opportunities to continue working with us on other projects after this assignment.

Interested? Let's talk!

We'd love to hear about your experience and how you approach complex integration challenges.

No lengthy cover letter needed. Instead, tell us a little about:

  • A comparable HubSpot integration or migration project you've worked on.

  • Your role in designing and implementing the integration architecture.

  • Your hands-on experience with HubSpot APIs and integrations.

  • Your availability and ability to work onsite in Almere during the initial phase.

Concrete examples are more valuable to us than a polished introduction.

Apply and let's explore whether this project is a good match!
