Interim Product Strategy Advisor

About the role: Advidi is going product-led. We built Sumify, our proprietary platform for running performance marketing at scale, and the migration off our legacy stack is well underway. The strategic question now: how do we innovate with and beyond Sumify to drive growth? We're looking for a heavyweight product leader to help us answer that. This is an independent advisory engagement, working closely with our leadership team, who own product strategy and direction. Your job: sharpen the vision, shape the roadmap, and help build a product-led operating model the whole company can run with. You'll have real influence and a seat at the table, not to take over delivery or manage the team, but to challenge our assumptions, sharpen our direction, and raise the level of our product practice. You'll think alongside leadership, partner with our product team, and act as a thought partner across product, technology, and the business. Responsibilities: Partner with leadership to articulate a clear product vision and translate it into a roadmap the business can rally behind. Help design a product-led operating model: how product, engineering, and commercial connect, how we decide what to build, and how product work ties into our company goals and OKRs. Bring structured frameworks for discovery, prioritization, and roadmap communication, and help embed them in how the team works. Pressure-test strategy and major product bets, surfacing risks and options we might not see from the inside. Act as a sounding board to our product team, working closely with our Senior Product Owner, who owns and leads delivery. Engage directly with affiliates and advertisers to ground the roadmap in real needs, and lend credibility to our partner relationships. What success looks like: By the end of the engagement, we expect: A written product vision narrative that leadership and teams understand and believe in. A product roadmap with clear priorities and sequencing the business is aligned on. A product-led operating model in practice: clear decision-making, healthy discovery habits, and a real link between product work and company goals. Stronger shared product practice, with new frameworks and outside perspective embedded in how the team works. Required skills: A seasoned product leader who has built and matured a product function before. Strong command of product strategy, vision, discovery, and roadmap craft and the ability to teach it to others. An excellent communicator, equally credible in an executive conversation, an engineering discussion, and a client meeting. Comfortable operating as a trusted advisor: high influence without formal authority, secure enough to shape and coach rather than command. Available for a substantial, focused commitment for the duration of the engagement, motivated by impact over title. It's a plus if you have: Experience in adtech, performance marketing, or affiliate networks. Experience with two-sided platforms or marketplaces. Experience taking a proprietary, in-house platform beyond parity with the third-party tooling it replaced. Experience standing up product-led ways of working in a scaling company. What we offer?
