Is this job info correct?

At Cuningham, we design environments that shape how people feel, engage, and connect. Our designs in the workplace market are rooted in creating thoughtful, high-quality experiences that lead with creativity, hospitality, and guest experience. Through collaboration and a deep understanding of user experience, we bring imaginative spaces to life from concept through construction. We are seeking an Interior Designer to join our Minneapolis team and contribute to workplace projects. This role is ideal for a designer who is passionate about design, eager to grow their technical and creative skills, and excited to work within a collaborative, design-driven environment. There will be opportunities to work across multiple markets as projects and interests align. The Interior Designer will support project teams through all phases of design and delivery, assisting with concept development, 3D development and visualization, materiality, documentation, and technical coordination. Working alongside project leaders and multidisciplinary teams, this individual will contribute to creating thoughtful, engaging environments while building a strong foundation in project execution and design excellence. What you will do: Assist in the design and documentation of workplace and other project types through all phases, from concept through construction administration. Support design development through sketching, space planning, 2D/3D modeling, visualization, and technical detailing. Assist in preparing client presentations through compelling visual, verbal, and graphic communication. Support coordination with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate integrated project delivery and BIM documentation. Participate in construction administration activities, including site observations, submittal reviews, and design verification. Assist with FF&E coordination, finish selections, specifications, and material research. Explore workplace and overall design trends, project types, and regenerative design strategies to support project design solutions. Support the application of interior materials, building codes, and permitting requirements within project work. Maintain interior resource libraries and assist with communication and coordination with manufacturer representatives and vendors. Contribute to thoughtful, high-quality project work while developing increasing responsibility and technical expertise. What we look for: 2+ years of professional interior design experience. Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field. Portfolio demonstrating design, visualization, space planning, and technical documentation skills. Experience with project documentation and coordination processes. Proficiency in Revit/BIM 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with visualization and modeling tools such as Enscape, Lumion, and/or Rhino. Understanding interior materials, detailing, and building code fundamentals. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Experience in hospitality market preferred, with interest in or exposure to other market sectors, a plus. Why Cuningham? At Cuningham, we believe the best work happens when people are supported, challenged, and connected. Whether collaborating across teams, engaging with our communities, or shaping meaningful design solutions, we bring pragmatic creativity and disciplined execution to every project — and we support each other through it all. We nurture an equitable work environment where curiosity is celebrated, craft is valued, and growth is prioritized. Alongside a team that brings low-ego expertise and active leadership day-to-day, you’ll work on complex, high-stakes projects that demand bold thinking and disciplined delivery. _________________________________________________________________________________ Cuningham is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and values the strength diversity brings to the workplace when combined with equity and justice.
