Intermediate Project Architect Location: New York, NY (Hybrid) Schedule: 4 Days In Office | Fridays Remote Experience Level: Intermediate (4-10 Years) Industry: Architecture & Commercial Interiors About the Opportunity A highly regarded architecture and interior design firm is seeking an Intermediate Project Architect to support the design and delivery of high-end commercial interior projects throughout New York City. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across all phases of project development, from concept and design development through construction administration and project closeout. The ideal candidate is a technically strong architect with advanced Revit skills, a passion for commercial interiors, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and project teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and coordinate comprehensive construction document packages Support design development efforts across multiple projects Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients throughout all project phases Conduct site surveys and existing conditions documentation Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with applicable regulations Participate in construction administration activities, including: RFIs Submittal reviews Site visits Coordination meetings Maintain project quality control and technical accuracy Communicate project status, milestones, and deliverables with internal and external stakeholders Contribute to project delivery from concept through construction completion Required Qualifications 4-10 years of professional architectural experience Advanced proficiency in Revit Strong experience producing complete construction document sets Experience coordinating consultants and multidisciplinary project teams Background working on commercial interior projects Strong understanding of technical detailing and project documentation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture or a related field Experience in workplace, retail, hospitality, or media environments Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure Experience with client-facing interactions and presentations Construction administration experience Desired Skills Revit Construction Documents Commercial Interiors Design Development Consultant Coordination Project Coordination Construction Administration Site Surveys Code Review What You'll Bring Strong technical and documentation skills Excellent attention to detail Collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving Ability to work independently and as part of a team Confidence interacting with clients, consultants, and contractors Strong organizational and time management abilities Why Consider This Opportunity? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
