ABOUT US
Eterio Realities Inc. is a software company in Victoria, British Columbia, building augmented reality tools for industrial manufacturing. Our story began in 2010, out of challenges encountered during the construction of the Sparkling Hill Resort in Vernon, B.C.
Today we’re a team of 30+ across Canada and India, and growing. We have built FabStation, an AR-enabled manufacturing execution system used by 200+ fabrication shops in 30+ countries. FabStation replaces paper and 2D drawings on the shop floor with AR-guided assembly, dimensional inspection, and production tracking, and it integrates with the workflows shops already run. Our mission is to empower steel fabricators with innovative augmented reality technology, revolutionizing the way they work.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an Intermediate Full Stack Developer to join our Engineering team in developing new features and maintaining existing systems. You will design, implement, test, and deploy distributed software services across our Angular front end and .NET back end. Working closely with the UX team from Figma designs, you'll deliver customer-centric features, and you'll turn plain-language feature specifications into working software using AI-assisted development, with the review discipline to ship secure, high-quality code.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Maintain our services and components are well-defined, modular, secure, reliable, diagnosable and actively monitored.
- Design, implement, test and deploy distributed software services across the front end (Angular) and back end (.NET).
- Use Domain Driven Design to model the business domain to define boundaries of microservices.
- Take part in feature scoping with Product and the team, then interpret the resulting plain-language feature specification into a technical design, tasks and acceptance criteria. Raise gaps and ambiguities before building, not after.
- Implement features with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code or similar) and review every change for correctness, security and maintainability before opening a PR.
- Write unit and integration tests as part of every change, and take an active part in peer code review.
- Contribute to front-end and back-end architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with the UX team, working from Figma designs, to provide and deliver a customer-centric user experience to our customers.
- Collaborate with other developers and departments to create a positive work environment and technical solutions that add to the growth of the company.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
- Strong Angular experience (component architecture, RxJS, state management).
- Strong C# and .NET experience.
- Solid experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
- Solid experience working with SQL databases (schema design and queries).
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools day to day (e.g. Claude, Claude Code, or similar) and connecting AI tooling to IDE to speed up coding, testing, and code review.
- Experience turning written feature specifications into working software, including clarifying ambiguous or incomplete requirements.
- Code review experience: you catch defects in other people’s code, including AI-generated code, not just your own.
- Working knowledge of secure coding practices: OWASP Top 10, authentication and authorization, input validation and secrets handling.
- Proactive and efficient approach to work.
- Strong written communication, including clear PR descriptions and technical write-ups.
- Demonstrated ownership and accountability for delivery.
NICE TO HAVES:
- Working experience with Python, Docker and Kubernetes, Azure Cloud integration - especially PaaS and/or Node.js.
- Working knowledge of Figma (interpreting designs, working from component libraries and design specs).
- Comfort integrating AI/LLM APIs or AI-powered features into applications.
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or other agentic/IDE-integration tooling.
- Knowledge of CAD or 3D modeling software.
- Experience with manufacturing or industrial software.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Competitive salary: $80,000-90,000 CAD
- Comprehensive benefits package – Medical, Dental, & Vision.
- Paid sick/personal days annually.
- $2,000 CAD tech stipend.
- Fully remote work environment.
- Company-wide holiday week closure over Christmas.
Thank you to all applicants. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted, and everyone we interview will hear back from us on the outcome.
