Qualifications and Experience required:
A completed relevant 3 or 4-year technical diploma or degree (Honours or postgraduate degree preferred), or equivalent work experience.
Strong proficiency in Java (SE/EE) and object-oriented programming principles
Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Proficient with source control systems such as Git
