Job Mission:
Learn and work on real projects and help shape the finance operations behind Kia Connect’s connected mobility and digital services business in Europe. Based in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, you will gain hands-on experience in an international, technology-driven environment.
For your internship at Kia Connect you need to be enrolled at the University (within European Union) during the whole internship period. Furthermore you need a valid visa and an unrestricted permit to work in Germany.
We recommend completing a six-month internship with us (with possibility to prolong to 12 months), as this gives you sufficient time to learn about finance processes at Kia Connect and familiarize yourself with your topic.
Your Responsibilities:
Learn & Support clearly defined accounting and finance activities under the guidance of experienced team members.
Build practical experience while contributing to accurate, compliant, and efficient finance processes in an international digital services business.
You will not get bored:
Assist with processing incoming and outgoing invoices, including workflows supported by SAP and related finance systems.
Collect and follow up on the required internal approvals to ensure invoices are released for payment in a timely manner.
Follow up on missing information in coordination with internal stakeholders.
Support in maintaining complete and well-organized accounting documentation in line with internal policies and statutory requirements.
Support the management of the Finance invoice mailbox and the timely routing of requests.
Assist with month-end closing activities, account reconciliations, data checks, and finance projects.
Your Profile:
Current Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable field
Fluent English, written and spoken; German at C1 level is required.
International mindset and a collaborative approach when working with colleagues across departments and countries.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook; initial experience with SAP or another ERP system is an advantage.
A structured, detail-oriented way of working, strong numerical understanding, and the initiative to learn and improve processes.
