Intern Market Risk (f/m/d) Workload: 100% | Starting Date: 01.01.2027 | Duration: 6 months Join Axpo Solutions AG and contribute to the development of PnL and Market Risk reports and applications that support strategic decision-making, market data analysis, and operational efficiency within the Market Risk Department. What you will do: Within the Market Risk Department, the team of BI and Market Intelligence is responsible for building and maintaining PnL and Market Risk reports and end-user applications used in Market Risk to: Deliver actionable management reporting that drives strategic decision-making. Enhance market data analysis and risk analytics to provide deeper visibility into PnL Explain, risk profiles and market data. Increase operational efficiency. During the Internship you will have your own development project to build a new tool or report or workflow to support our Market Risk analysts and external stakeholders on their PnL and risk analysis. What you bring & who you are: Pursuing a university degree in quantitative finance, economics, data science, or another field with a sound quantitative or mathematical background Knowledge of applied statistical and financial methods and modelling Solid knowledge of financial instruments such as Futures, Swaps, Forwards, and Options, including valuation and risk management Experience in Power BI, Power Apps, SQL, and Python Ideally, experience in the energy or commodity sector Ideally, experience in Databricks or Dataiku Good written and oral communication skills Independent and self-driven way of working Structured approach to projects Good English language skills Benefits: At our company, we strive to create a culture of continuous learning, personal growth, and inter- national community involvement.
