Intern – Monoclonal Network LM TSMS Positions: 2 Start date: January/June 2027 (course dependent) Duration: 8/6 months (course dependent) Salary: €30,500 Location: Lilly Dunderrow Kinsale Type : 4 days onsite 1 day work from home Course Eligibility: BSc in Industrial Biochemistry at the University of Limerick or the BSc in Biotechnological and Pharmaceutical Products Manufacturing at the University of Galway The TS/MS Monoclonal Network Support Team is seeking a student placement candidate to support the delivery of technical and strategic initiatives across the monoclonal antibody network. The successful candidate will work closely with Upstream, Downstream and Analytical scientists to generate technical data that supports manufacturing operations, process understanding and key business projects. This placement offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a dynamic technical organisation, including exposure to the IE43 Monoclonal Network Pilot Plant, a pilot-scale facility supporting process development, technology advancement and network initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support laboratory experimentation and data generation activities under the guidance of experienced scientists and engineers. Contribute to technical projects across Upstream, Downstream or Analytical functions, with responsibility for defined project deliverables and reporting. Assist with day-to-day laboratory operations, including preparation, execution and documentation of experimental work. Analyse experimental data and prepare technical summaries, reports and presentations. Support activities within the IE43 Monoclonal Network Pilot Plant and other laboratory-based studies as required. Work as part of cross-functional project teams to support the wider TS/MS technical agenda. Follow all applicable safety, quality and compliance requirements. Participate in project meetings and communicate progress to supervisors and project teams. Undertake additional project or laboratory activities as required by the supervising staff.
