Description:

Are you passionate about driving organizational transformation through impactful communications and employee engagement? Join our Corporate Affairs team as an Internal Communications Specialist. You’ll be responsible for supporting transformation initiatives across Mars Snacking Latin America by translating business priorities into compelling communications, strengthening culture, and creating meaningful engagement experiences for Associates and leaders.

As a key partner for internal communications and transformation efforts, you will collaborate with leaders, cross-functional teams, and external agencies to deliver communication strategies, leadership engagement activities, and regional campaigns that support business objectives. This is a transitional role with an initial 18-month term, with the possibility of extension or internal career opportunities.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Transformation Communications: Support the development and execution of internal communications strategies that enable organizational transformation, business priorities, and Associate engagement across Latin America.
  • Leadership Communications & Engagement: Create executive messaging, presentations, key messages, organizational announcements, and engagement initiatives that connect Associates with business objectives and leadership narratives.
  • Events & Culture Initiatives: Coordinate regional town halls, leadership visits, internal events, and engagement programs that strengthen culture, collaboration, and adoption of Mars values.
  • Channels & Campaign Management: Manage communication channels, editorial calendars, and regional campaigns while ensuring alignment with business priorities and communication strategies.
  • Content Development & Performance Tracking: Develop communication assets, partner with creative agencies, measure campaign effectiveness through KPIs, and translate insights into continuous improvement actions.

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, organizational change, transformation, or related roles.
  • Fluent English and Spanish communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong expertise in internal communications, storytelling, audience engagement, message development, and channel planning.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, agencies, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders, delivering executive communications, and working effectively in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and collaboration platforms.
