About Sybilla Technologies
At Sybilla Technologies, we are on a mission to let the world see what happens in space — clearly, reliably, and on time.

In a domain where objects travel at 24,000 km/h and a single unseen fragment can destroy a satellite or endanger a crew, visibility is everything. We transform that responsibility into action, building systems, software, and services that safeguard the future of global space operations.

Born from a passion for astronomy, engineering, and exploration, Sybilla has grown from a small, bootstrapped startup into a recognized European space-tech company. We work across Space Traffic Management, Space Surveillance & Tracking, and Space Operations, combining advanced optical systems, software, automation, and data.

Our technologies help governments, defense organizations, space operators, and other customers understand what is happening in orbit and make better, more informed decisions in an increasingly complex space environment.

Today, we are a growing international team of astrophysicists, engineers, software developers, analysts, project managers, and other specialists working together across Europe and beyond.

About The Role

As an Internal Tools Engineer, you will develop, configure, maintain and improve the internal tools that support how Sybilla teams work.

You will focus on turning agreed operational needs into reliable and maintainable technical solutions — from technically significant ClickUp automations and integrations to internal tools, workflow automation and data flows. You will design solutions, implement and test changes, troubleshoot issues, and make sure that the systems and automations you build remain controlled, documented and reliable over time.
You will work closely with teams across the company and with Sybilla’s Data, Analytics and Internal Tools area. Your work will have a direct impact on internal processes, reporting and the quality of data flowing between systems.

This role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex or manual workflows and prefers building stable, well-documented solutions over constantly redesigning systems.

What You Will Do
  • ClickUp Engineering and Automation: designing, building and maintaining custom / technically significant ClickUp automations, scripts and engineering solutions.
  • Internal tools development: designing, building and maintaining tools supporting internal company processes.
  • Workflow automation: automating repetitive internal processes and ensure that automations remain reliable, controlled and maintainable.
  • Systems integration: building and maintaining integrations between ClickUp, internal applications and DAINT analytical systems.
  • Data quality and change control: validating configurations and data flows, preventing uncontrolled changes and resolving issues affecting tools, automations or downstream reporting.
  • Requirements and solution delivery: translating agreed operational needs into proportionate technical solutions, then implement, test and validate them against acceptance criteria.
  • Documentation and user support: maintaining technical and user documentation, communicate changes and provide structured support for implemented solutions.
What You Bring
Must-have
  • 3+ years of experience in business systems administration, internal tools development, workflow automation, business applications or a related technical role.
  • Strong practical experience administering and configuring ClickUp or a comparable work-management platform.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365.
  • Experience designing and maintaining workflows, custom fields, statuses, templates, permissions and automations.
  • Ability to translate operational requirements into clear, maintainable technical solutions.
  • Experience developing scripts or integrations using Python, C# or a comparable language.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, structured data formats and system integrations.
  • Good knowledge of SQL and relational data concepts.
  • Good knowledge of C# or Python.
  • Strong attention to detail, including naming consistency, dependencies and historical continuity.
  • Systematic troubleshooting, clear documentation and concise user communication skills.
  • Ability to balance user needs with maintainability, governance and platform constraints.
  • High level of independence, ownership and follow-through.
  • A proactive approach to improving reporting workflows and data processes.
  • Advanced English, minimum B2, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
  • Experience as a ClickUp administrator, consultant or implementation specialist in a multi-team environment.
  • Familiarity with data governance, change control and process mapping.
  • Experience working with HR, finance, commercial or other operational workflows.
  • Awareness of data privacy and security best practices in dashboard and reporting work.
  • Experience working in dynamic, remote-first environments.
  • Interest in space-related topics.
What We Offer
  • Remote-first work model (company’s HQ is in Bydgoszcz, Poland),
  • Compensation:
    • 15,000–17,000 PLN gross/month (employment contract) or 116–132 PLN net/hour (B2B).
    • The final compensation package depends on professional experience, qualifications, seniority, employment model and applicable local market conditions.
  • Flexible working hours,
  • Medical and sports package,
  • Group insurance,
  • A dedicated mentor and structured onboarding, where applicable,
  • A high level of ownership and autonomy in your area of responsibility,
  • The opportunity to work in a highly specialized space-tech environment alongside astrophysicists, engineers, analysts, software developers and other experts,
  • The opportunity to work on technologies and projects with real-world impact across the space, defense and deep-tech ecosystem.
Why Sybilla?
At Sybilla, we don't just observe space. We make it navigable. Predictable. Safe. And you can help shape what comes next.
  • We give people real responsibility and trust them to take ownership of their work.
  • We work on complex problems where good decisions, collaboration and high standards matter.
  • We value clear communication, accountability and getting things done — without unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • We are growing, which means there is room to improve how we work, challenge existing solutions and make a visible impact.
