Workday HR Systems Specialist | Up to 80,000 EUR | 100% Remote DE

We're recruiting on behalf of an independent healthcare company based in Thuringia for an experienced HR Systems Specialist to join their HR Technology team on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of a live, high-visibility Workday implementation, working closely with the internal HR team and the systems integrator delivering the project.

The Role

Phase 1 of a national Workday rollout, covering Absence and Time Tracking, has just gone live, replacing the previous Personio system. You'll take ownership of the next phase of the implementation from the internal side, acting as technical lead on system design and configuration.

Day-to-day you'll be:

• Translating HR processes into system logic and independently building out new Workday modules on the existing setup
• Acting as technical lead on system design and functional configuration
• Handling deeper system administration and acting as first responder for complex troubleshooting
• Running system tests for leadership, HR and employees
• Partnering with HR project leadership to digitise HR, recruiting and talent management workflows into Workday processes
• Owning data quality across the HR data landscape and building dashboards for management decision-making
• Managing interfaces and integrations as the technical bridge to internal and external IT partners

Your Profile

• Hands-on Workday HCM configuration/implementation experience
• Experience with the Workday Finance module is a strong plus
• A degree or vocational training (IT or HR) is a useful foundation; strong technical systems understanding and attention to detail matter more
• Business-fluent German and solid English for the Workday environment
• Solutions-oriented, fast learner, strong team player
• Looking for a long-term role
