The purpose of the consultancy roster is to establish a pool of potential consultants who may be considered for future consultancy opportunities with Prosper Global. Inclusion on the roster does not guarantee selection, engagement, or any contractual obligation.

The Position

Accountability
- Report directly to: Varies, depending on assignment
- Timeframe / Schedule:Open contract - with possible 3-6 month engagements
- Works directly with: Country Directors/Deputy Country Directors/Country Technical Teams involved in the proposal writing process; Global Business Development team members, as needed; HQ technical team members, as needed
Accountability to Participants and Stakeholders
Prosper Global team members are expected to support all efforts toward accountability, specifically to our program participants, community partners, other stakeholders, and to international standards guiding international relief and development work. We are committed to actively engaging communities as equal partners in the design, monitoring and evaluation of our field projects.
Minimum Qualification and Transferable Skills
- 5+ years of experience and proven track record in successful program design, development, and implementation for various donors; experience with development as well as humanitarian proposal writing
- Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills
- Applicants with strong technical expertise in the following fields are also encouraged to apply: climate adaptation, food security, market system developments, social cohesion, gender
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
- BA/S or equivalent required; Master’s degree in international development or a related field preferred
- Native-level spoken and written English
Living Conditions / Environmental Conditions
The position is based in LOCATION and it requires up to 40% travel to support country programs, which may include travel to insecure locations where freedom of movement is limited and areas where amenities are limited. Housing for this role is in individual housing and staff will have access to good medical services and the living situation is of a high standard.
