Reporting to the International Tax Manager, she/he’ll support the Group's international tax, transfer pricing, tax reporting and Global Minimum Tax (Pillar Two) compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions.

Who We Are Looking For
Safilo is looking for an International Tax Senior Specialist to join the Tax Department within the Finance Division at its Headquarters in Padova. Reporting to the International Tax Manager, she/he’ll support the Group's international tax, transfer pricing, tax reporting and Global Minimum Tax (Pillar Two) compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions.
As an International Tax Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Support the preparation of the Group tax provision and tax reporting process under IFRS and local accounting standards, including current and deferred taxes
- Support the analysis and implementation of international tax regulations affecting the Group
- Provide tax support on cross-border transactions and intercompany business flows
- Coordinate and liaise with external tax advisors and local finance teams to ensure alignment on tax matters and support international tax compliance and advisory projects, across various jurisdictions including the US
- Support the implementation and monitoring of the Group's transfer pricing policies, including transfer pricing documentation, intercompany agreements and year-end adjustments
- Support the Group's Global Minimum Tax (Pillar Two) compliance and reporting processes across relevant jurisdictions
- Support tax governance initiatives, internal control processes and tax risk management activities
- Monitor international tax developments and assess their impact on the Group
- Provide tax support and practical guidance to Finance, Treasury, Legal, Supply Chain and other business functions on international tax matters
- You have at least 4-7 years of experience in a similar role, either within the tax department of a multinational company or at a leading international tax advisory firm
- You hold a degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, preferably with a specialization in tax law and international taxation
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
- You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, are a proactive team player, and can adapt effectively to change
- You have solid experience in corporate income tax, tax accounting and tax reporting, combined with a strong knowledge of international taxation, transfer pricing principles and OECD Guidelines
- You have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
