Cummins Turkey Power Generation G-Drive team based in İzmir is looking for a G-Drive Customer Engineering Intern to join the team for a 12-month long-term internship (6+6 months).

By working within a global organization and collaborating with teams across multiple functions and regions, you will develop a strong foundation for a future career in engineering and power your potential.

As a Generator Drive Customer Engineering Intern, you will support the team in providing technical assistance to OEM customers and contributing to new product development activities. You will gain hands-on experience in developing technical specifications, evaluating product applications, and supporting the integration of Cummins solutions into customer equipment. Working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to delivering high-quality, customer-focused solutions while developing your technical and professional skills.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • Ability to work in our İzmir office under a hybrid working model, with a minimum of 60% office attendance.
  • Final-year Bachelor's student, current Master's student, or recent graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Marine, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Good command of Excel
  • Native Turkish speaker with the ability to communicate effectively in English through both written and spoken interactions in a daily business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Support the OEM integration team with application engineering activities.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and assist with documenting, updating, and following up on action items.
  • Support technical documentation, product application reviews, and engineering projects as required.
  • Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting activities.
