CENSUS continues its successful paid internship program, allowing interns to build up practical skills and gain hands-on experience in modern IT systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, as well as emerging AI operations. The intern will collaborate closely with our internal IT & engineering teams globally. Remote working as well as on-site / hybrid working options are offered for the internship. Key Responsibilities During this internship, you will contribute to both core IT operations and modern infrastructure projects, including: Assisting with day-to-day administration, provisioning and maintenance of on-premise and cloud systems. Supporting cloud identity, access management and security governance within the Azure ecosystem. Assisting in the deployment, monitoring and day-to-day operations of local and hybrid AI/LLM infrastructure and inference environments. Troubleshooting workstation, server, and network issues while applying core cybersecurity hygiene. Documenting internal workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and system topologies. Requirements Academic or practical background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field. Solid understanding of core networking and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, routing, and firewall basics). Familiarity with administration and troubleshooting across both GNU/Linux and Microsoft Windows environments. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure fundamentals and modern identity/security concepts (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID, Azure RBAC, Service Accounts, or Key Vault). Strong security literacy and awareness of core principles (least privilege, secure authentication, patch management, PKI/TLS certificate lifecycles). Basic scripting capabilities for automation and system tasks (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, or Python). Strong analytical mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to learn new platforms and operational workflows. Good command of the English language (written and verbal). Considered a Plus (Not strictly required) Hands-on familiarity with advanced Azure features (e.g., Privileged Identity Management [PIM], Workload/VM Identities, Managed HSM). Interest or exposure to AI Operations / MLOps basics (e.g., containerizing workloads via Docker, GPU resource management, setting up local LLM inference engines or endpoints). Experience with virtualization and container tools (e.g., Proxmox, VMware, Docker, or Kubernetes basics). Practical exposure to enterprise backup solutions, monitoring stacks, or configuration management. Candidates that successfully complete the internship program are offered a full-time position with CENSUS.
