Internship - Land Development

The Community group is looking for a civil engineering intern to assist design teams on various site design related projects. Our internship program is a 12-week paid summer program. We offer in-depth work experience on real client projects. The successful candidate will work directly with the diverse technical experts of the Community Development group in a supportive and collaborative design team environment that seeks to maximize team member engagement. The position is full-time Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities Perform basic site and drainage designs Implement Sustainable Site design principles Assist with the preparation of local, state & federal permit applications Provide construction administration support Execute design-related computer programs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, and Synchro Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on site design and land development 3.0 GPA or higher Proficiency with MS Office programs Prior experience with CAD software preferred Ability to perform field work Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment This is a hybrid role , offering the best of both worlds—collaborate in-office with a high-performing team and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely part of the week. This range reflects the company’s good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
