The Common Ones is looking for motivated interns to support our work across sustainability, entrepreneurship, community building and international cooperation.


We are currently recruiting for two internship tracks:

1. Business Development Intern

You will support our efforts to identify new opportunities, develop partnerships and turn early ideas into projects.


Your responsibilities may include:

• Researching business, funding and partnership opportunities

• Identifying potential partners, clients and collaborators

• Supporting outreach and follow-up activities

• Maintaining our contacts and opportunities pipeline

• Conducting market, sector and stakeholder research

• Contributing to new project concepts

• Supporting concept notes, proposals and partnership documents

• Preparing presentations, organizational profiles and outreach materials

• Tracking opportunities, deadlines and next actions


This track may be relevant for students or recent graduates in business, innovation, sustainability, international relations, economics, project management or related fields.

We are particularly interested in candidates with strong research and written-English skills who are organized, proactive and interested in partnerships and international projects.

2. Social Media & Events Intern

You will support The Common Ones’ communications and help us promote and coordinate projects, workshops and community activities in Copenhagen.


Your responsibilities may include:

• Drafting content for LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook

• Creating and adapting visual content using Canva

• Supporting the implementation of our content calendar

• Promoting upcoming projects, workshops and events

• Helping document activities through photos, videos and participant stories

• Supporting invitations, registrations and participant communication

• Assisting with event preparation and on-site coordination

• Engaging with our online community

• Tracking social media performance and preparing short summaries

• Organizing communication materials, templates and workflows


This track may be relevant for students or recent graduates in communications, marketing, media, event management, business or related fields.


We are looking for someone creative, organized and comfortable communicating with different people and communities. Availability to occasionally attend activities in Copenhagen is important.

Internship conditions

• Approximately 15 hours per week

• Initial duration of 10–12 weeks, with the possibility of extension

• Based in Copenhagen, with flexibility for remote work

• Digital-first collaboration with occasional in-person meetings and activities

• Regular guidance and weekly check-ins

• Recommendation letter upon successful completion

• Unpaid internship designed as a learning and professional-development opportunity


The Business Development track can be performed mainly digitally. The Social Media & Events track requires greater availability for occasional in-person activities in Copenhagen.
