At Equip Super, we’re focused on helping our members prepare for, and enjoy financial freedom in retirement. As a profit‑to‑member industry superannuation fund, everything we do is guided by strong governance, long term thinking and high quality service. Headquartered in Melbourne, we’ve grown into a national fund serving diverse industries across Australia.
We are a supportive, purpose driven organisation with a member and people centred culture. We support genuine flexible and hybrid working, diverse opportunities for learning, development, and career growth and our people have access to a range of benefits and discounts spanning wellbeing, health, fitness, technology, entertainment and shopping.
Job Description
As an Intrafund Consultant at Equip Super, you will be part of the growing high performing Advice team and are the first point of contact for member advice enquiries, delivering high-quality intrafund personal advice to members via phone or video. You will conduct member discussions, fact-finding and needs analysis, provide general or personal advice within scope, and refer more complex matters to specialist advisers when required.
This role will be based out of one of our regional offices either in VIC (Traralgon) or WA (Perth city) and includes some travel and facilitation of member education seminars.
Desired Skills And Experience
To be successful in this role you will have experience in financial planning, superannuation, member services or a related financial services environment, with a sound understanding of superannuation and broader financial advice strategies. You meet the education requirements for a qualified Financial Adviser; are RG146 compliant and are committed to ongoing professional development. You’ll have demonstrated knowledge of superannuation, investment and insurance products and have sound knowledge of relevant superannuation and tax legislation and regulations. Familiarity with advice and telephony systems such as Xplan, Salesforce and Genesys will be preferred.
Providing exceptional member experience and quality advice is at the centre of everything we do. Your strong time management, communication and relationship building skills, coupled with your ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging way, will set you up for success in the role.
Not sure you meet every requirement? We encourage you to apply. We value diverse perspectives and potential.
Our Commitment to Inclusion: Equip Super is committed to creating an inclusive, safe, and equitable workplace. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences including First Nations peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, LGBTQIA+ people, people with disability, and those returning to the workforce. If you require adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process, we’re here to support you.
How to Apply: Please apply with your CV. No need to include a cover letter unless you’d like to provide more context to your application.
Recruitment agencies play an important role in our overall talent strategy; however, this vacancy is being managed by our internal team. Please note that we are unable to accept unsolicited or floated CVs or profiles.
