Role Overview:

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the accuracy and scalability of the

financial operations. You’ll oversee key accounting functions including the monthly close,

financial reporting surrounding inventory of a product developed locally.

With a business spanning software, hardware and technology-enabled services, you’ll also

play an important role in integrating and standardizing accounting practices. The ideal

candidate is comfortable working in the details while building scalable processes and will

partner closely with Finance, executive leadership, and teams across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and oversee the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all accounting activities.
• Lead inventory accounting and financial reporting for locally manufactured products.
• Prepare and review financial statements, account reconciliations, journal entries, and management reports.
• Oversee accounting for inventory, COGS, fixed assets, and related financial transactions.
• Ensure accounting practices comply with U.S. GAAP and established internal controls.
• Partner with Finance, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and consistent financial information.
• Lead external audit activities, including preparation of supporting schedules and coordination with auditors.
• Identify opportunities to standardize, improve, and automate accounting processes across software, hardware, and technology-enabled services.
• Develop scalable accounting processes and controls that support the company’s continued growth and operational complexity.
• Provide hands-on leadership to the accounting function, balancing day-to-day accounting execution with process improvement and team leadership.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Direct manufacturing and inventory accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, COGS, and fixed assets
• Experience owning monthly close and financial reporting
• External audit and internal controls experience
• Experience leading an accounting function or team
• Strong process improvement and accounting systems experience
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-growing environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 10pm to 7am PHT
