We work on capital raises and M&A transactions from $2.5M to $100M+, for startups, funds and growing businesses, alongside a US-based partner team.

We're hiring a Senior Associate in South Africa who wants to be a key player at a fast-growing firm. You'll own client relationships, drive investor conversations, lead a team of analysts, and help run the marketing engine that brings us investors and counterparties. If you are humble, hungry, and want your work to show directly in the deals we close and the firm we build, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

• Client Relationships: Be the day-to-day point of contact for our clients. Run regular update calls, keep them informed on investor feedback and deal progress, and make sure they always know what comes next.
• Investor Relations: Support partners across the investor process: follow up with interested investors, schedule and join investor calls, track feedback and next steps, and help move investors toward term sheets.
• Counterparty Outreach Campaigns: Help plan and run our marketing campaigns to investors, buyers and other counterparties: target lists, messaging, sequencing, and reporting on what is working.
• Marketing Material: Create and refine pitch decks, teasers, investment memoranda (CIMs), one-pagers and campaign copy, to an institutional standard.
• Team Leadership: Manage, train and review the work of our analyst team (decks, models, data rooms, research), so that everything that leaves the firm is client-ready.
• Deal Execution: Support partners on live mandates: financial models, valuation, data rooms, diligence and deal timelines.
• Firm Building: Improve our internal processes and playbooks as we scale.

Hours

This is a US-hours role. You'll work US Eastern business hours, roughly 3:00pm–11:00pm South African time (4:00pm–midnight when the US is on standard time), so you can work live with our partners, clients and investors.

Licensing

• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 are required. If you don't hold them yet, you must pass both within 2 months of your start date.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, venture capital or transaction advisory.
• Experience working directly with clients, investors or senior executives.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation and presentation skills.
• Native or near-native English, spoken and written.
• Experience leading or mentoring junior team members.
• Comfortable owning projects end-to-end with little supervision.
• Bonus: experience with outbound marketing or email/LinkedIn outreach campaigns, investor or buyer outreach, or deal sourcing.
• Bonus: capital raising or sell-side M&A experience, or exposure to US markets and investors.
