Rowe Price’s investment capabilities by sharing our investment insights with clients, prospects, advisors and consultants. It requires deep investment expertise, strong commercial judgement, and close collaboration with various members of the investment organization to help represent our views across equity, fixed income and multi-asset to position our range of investment capabilities. This role requires the ability to drive high-impact engagements with clients and prospects to better understand their specific needs and propose potential solutions around existing capabilities, and to translate insights from across our investment platform into clear, compelling messages for clients, prospects, consultants, and internal stakeholders. The Investment Strategist will curate macro, equity, and fixed income perspectives into a more prescriptive, consistent narrative that supports more consultative conversations between sales, relationship managers and their clients. In doing so, the Investment Strategist will connect the firm’s capital market views and investment insights to priority strategies and key initiatives, while flexing between equity, fixed income, and multi-asset opportunities depending on market conditions and client demand. This role will spend most of the time (between 35-50%) traveling in the field and at conferences with the sales and relationship management teams, supporting T. Rowe Price’s positioning in the market and ongoing sales and client retention efforts. Responsibilities Maintain broad knowledge of investment perspectives across asset classes by attending relevant equity, fixed income and multi-asset investment meetings Leveraging insights from the investment staff, partners with existing Global Equity and Fixed Income Investment Strategists as well as Portfolio Specialist/Portfolio Analyst teams within the Investment Specialist Group to construct and deliver presentations, content and messaging that is broadly reflective of T. Rowe Price’s views on global capital markets. Represent our capital market views in meetings with prospects, clients, and consultants. Meeting types may vary to include one-to-one meetings as well as larger group presentations of 50 or more. Be conversant about T. Rowe Price’s broader investment offerings to support conversations that match client needs with appropriate T. Rowe Price product or solution. When necessary, handoff to Portfolio Analyst or Portfolio Specialist when additional depth is required on any given strategy or solution. Support the gathering and retention of assets under management by working closely with sales and relationship management professionals, with a focus on the Broker/Dealer, Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and Regional Bank distribution teams within our US Intermediary channel. Though their work may extend to other audiences and channels as needed. Drive commercial growth through client engagement, prospecting, consultant support, marketing, and distribution partnership. Shape solutions, content, and positioning that connect investment insights to evolving client needs. A heavy travel schedule will exist, one can expect 35-50% of their time on the road supporting our distribution partners Qualifications Required: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the investment management industry. Relevant experience can include investment research, portfolio analysis, investment consulting, or institutional/intermediary client service. Must be willing to travel Must have a passion for the investment business with a deep understanding of investment concepts and have a strong working knowledge of investment strategies and tactics. Demonstrated track record of success in effectively communicating complex concepts to a wide variety of audiences. Exceptional relationship management skills with ability to interact well with investment professionals (internal and external), sales and client service professionals, and institutional/intermediary clients and consultants. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to create compelling presentations that turn complex financial data into visually stimulating and easily digestible graphics/designs. This activity would be in conjunction with the Presentation Design Team. Has demonstrated leadership capabilities managing strategy/franchise/or product group. Client facing experience. Preferred: MBA and/or CFA highly desired (or highly tenured investment individual). Relevant cross asset-class experience desired. Ability to work well within a collegial, but fast-paced and unstructured environment. Highly motivated and a self-starter who possesses a high level of personal integrity and a passion for achieving competitive results. FINRA Requirements FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role. Work Flexibility This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home. Base Salary Ranges Please review the job posting for the location of this specific opportunity. $200,000.00-$300,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers $200,000.00-$300,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C. $200,000.00-$300,000.00 for the location of: New York, California Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role . Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package . Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
