Investor Relations Manager

Position Overview

As the Investor Relations Manager at Fairhaven Property Group, you will play a critical and dynamic role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our investors. This position requires expertise in investor relations, branding, marketing, and the ability to contribute to various aspects of our growing organization. You will have the opportunity to work closely with investors in South East Asia and Oceania, leveraging your regional knowledge and networks to support our strategic goals. As a member of our small and collaborative team, you will also be expected to wear multiple hats and contribute to various initiatives beyond investor relations.

Location: Hybrid - Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand / Remote

Responsibilities

• Investor Relations:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for investors in South East Asia and Oceania, providing exceptional service and addressing their inquiries and concerns.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Coordinate and facilitate investor communications, including newsletters, reports, and updates on fund performance and investment opportunities.
• Organize investor events, conferences, and meetings to promote investor engagement and cultivate a sense of community.
• Branding and Marketing:
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute branding strategies that align with the company's vision and values.
• Contribute to the development of marketing materials, presentations, and collateral to effectively communicate the value proposition and differentiate Fairhaven Property Group in the market.
• Assist in ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all investor-facing communications, both online and offline.
• Support market research and analysis efforts to identify target investor segments, market trends, and competitive positioning.
• Contribute to enhancing the online presence through website content, social media, and other digital marketing initiatives.
• Reporting and Analytics:
• Prepare regular investor reports and presentations to provide insights into fund performance, market trends, and investment strategies.
• Utilize data and analytics to track and measure the effectiveness of investor relations and marketing initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze investor feedback, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Additional Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development and implementation of investor relations and marketing strategies, leveraging your knowledge and experience in the South East Asia and Oceania markets.
• Assist in organizing and coordinating investor roadshows, conferences, and other investor-related events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights to support investor relations and marketing efforts.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the investor relations function within a small and dynamic team.
• Assist with other company-related tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to various initiatives within a small team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, operations, and legal, to support the overall growth and success of Fairhaven Property Group.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on industry knowledge and investor feedback to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to investor relations and marketing, sharing relevant information with the team.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Fairhaven Property Group, promoting our values, culture, and investment opportunities to internal and external stakeholders.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
• Proven experience in investor relations, branding, marketing, and working with investors in South East Asia and Oceania, preferably within the financial services or real estate industry.
• Strong knowledge of investment products, capital markets, and investor relations best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex investment concepts to both sophisticated and non-sophisticated investors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market data and trends to inform decision-making.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
