Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality iOS applications.
• Build and improve customer-facing features using Swift and UIKit.
• Work with MVVM, REST APIs, and modern iOS development practices.
• Write clean, maintainable and performant code.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects.
• Perform performance analysis and optimisation.
• Work with existing Objective-C legacy code and progressively modernise it.
• Develop unit and integration tests using XCTest/XCUITest.
• Work with CI/CD and build tools including Tuist, Xcodebuild, GitHub Actions, and CircleCI.
• Collaborate with globally distributed engineering and product teams.
• Design solutions for open-ended technical problems and iterate rapidly despite ambiguity.
• Contribute ideas that improve engineering practices, product quality, and user experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience developing iOS applications.
• Strong Swift development experience.
• Experience with UIKit and iOS application architecture such as MVVM.
• Experience integrating REST APIs/backend services.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Experience troubleshooting bugs and improving application performance.
• Experience working with Objective-C, including legacy codebases.
• Understanding of CI/CD and continuous integration practices.
• Experience with tools such as Tuist, Xcodebuild, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
• Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative, globally distributed team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
