iOS Developer

Role Description The iOS Developer role is a contract position based in Lagos State. In this role, the developer designs, builds, and maintains iOS mobile applications, ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness. Daily tasks include implementing new features, fixing bugs, optimizing app performance, and collaborating with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver user-centric solutions. The iOS Developer will write clean, testable code, integrate APIs and third-party services, participate in code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Mobile Application Development and experience building production-ready Mobile Applications.
• Proficiency in iOS Development and deep understanding of the iOS platform(Swift), frameworks, and tools.
• Solid Software Development fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and version control (e.g., Git).
• Experience with Swift, and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
• Ability to integrate RESTful APIs and work with JSON, as well as familiarity with unit testing and debugging tools.
• Good understanding of app lifecycle, performance optimization, and App Store submission processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate in a hybrid work environment.
• Banking or fintech experience is a must.
• Previous experience working in agile teams and contributing to tech products for startups or tech-enabled companies is an advantage.
