Compensation Reviews, Career Growth Opportunities Flexible Remote Schedules Generous PTO Plans and Paid Holidays Great Place to Work Certified POSITION SUMMARY: Support IR operations by receiving and reviewing referrals for Interventional Radiology procedures and consultations and ensuring all required clinical, demographic, insurance, and imaging documentation is complete. Coordinate referrals, outpatient procedures, follow-up visits, and scheduling while obtaining missing information and providing backup scheduling support as needed. Obtain prior authorizations when required, maintain accurate and confidential patient records, and distribute consultation reports to appropriate parties. Communicate professionally with patients, referring physicians, hospital staff, and insurance companies to facilitate a prompt, helpful, and efficient referral and scheduling process. Demonstrate knowledge of IR procedures and medical terminology along with strong computer, communication, organizational, interpersonal, teamwork, judgment, and confidentiality skills. DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Radiology and/or medical office experience preferred. Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills with attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion. Positive, cooperative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Comfort working with hospital patient information systems and radiology workflows.
