This position reports to: Global IS Portfolio & Effectivness Manager __ Your role and responsibilities The IS Functional Technology Services (FTS) Effectiveness Lead is responsible for ensuring service excellence, financial performance, Service Portfolio and the consistent adoption of ABB standards within the FTS domain. This role leads strategic initiatives and programs focused on continuously improving service delivery, maintaining Service Portfolio, optimizing internal procedures, enhancing integration, and driving transformational efforts across the organization. All initiatives must comply with regulatory requirements and align with internal Core IS standards. Working in close partnership with Service Owners, the Lead ensures the highest standards of service management while balancing evolving business needs and objectives. By championing a culture of continuous improvement, the Lead will foster collaboration with key stakeholders, oversee the performance of FTS operations, and develop strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to support long-term service success. The work model for the role is: #Li-hybrid / #Li-remote You will be mainly accountable for: Describing and defining IT processes/services including relationships, dependencies, and business value. Promoting ABB Service Standards and closely working with Service Owners on continues Improvements Service Portfolio: Preparing and maintaining FTS Service Portfolio. Financial Performance: ensuring that the organization's Service Portfolio is effective, efficient and in line with best practices, the IS FTS Services Effectiveness Lead can help to improve the organization's financial performance and profitability. Effectiveness: Defining, applying and executing the relevant measurement and reporting management practice to enable planning, controlling, reviewing, and auditing services to meet agreed Key Performance Indicator targets. Performance monitoring and status reporting , including: comprehensive services review, reviewing the effectiveness of measures on an ongoing basis, establishing and overseeing external and internal Information delivery channels, security skills coverage. Providing consultation, advice, and supporting the effectiveness of IS services, or the change of existing IS services. Services documentation and processes monitoring including gaps identifications, improvements management and evaluation of the services roadmap delivery. Effectiveness assignments. Mini projects across FTS Domain requiring consultation skill set, senior stakeholders management, preparations of Statement of Work, Leading projects work streams. Qualifications for the role Required proven experience in identifying and leading improvement initiatives, IS Processes, market standards for Service Management with relevant methodologies certification and proven experience Excellent verbal communication skillset (prior consultancy experience would be an advantage) and creation of relevant materials, Project\Program as well as Transition\Transformations experience, Facilitating skills with business Leads and technology experts, Reporting and measurement expertise, methodologies and market standards knowledge, Financial knowledge on Service Delivery Building a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
