Locations Required: Belgium, Canada, France, Mexico, or United States Time Zone Preference: 6am - 12pm EST Contract Duration: 12 months About Us Original Composites and Fiberglass is a global leader in glass reinforcement solutions for the composites industry. Recently separated from Owens Corning, the business now operates independently under the Praana ownership model, continuing a strong legacy of innovation, manufacturing excellence, and customer partnership. With more than 4,000 employees worldwide, we are committed to redefining what's possible through a performance-driven culture centered on safety, quality, sustainability, inclusiveness, and employee development. Guided by our values of passion, ownership, and team spirit, we work together to deliver innovative solutions and exceptional service across the globe. About the Role We are seeking an experienced IT Application Migration and Transition Leader to drive the migration and transition of hundreds of applications from an outsourced IT environment operating under a Transition Services Agreement (TSA) into a new IT environment that supports the company operating independently and exit the TSA. This role will lead and coordinate the initial scoping, sourcing, implementation, deployment, transition, and operational support of a broad portfolio of applications spanning multiple business domains, including finance, sourcing, supply chain, research and development, manufacturing, legal, human resources, sales, and marketing. The application landscape includes cloud-based, hybrid, on-premises, vendor-managed, plant-level, productivity, engineering, reporting, and business applications that must be assessed, sequenced, migrated, stabilized, supported, or retired as part of the separation program. The ideal candidate is an experienced IT professional with strong enterprise application knowledge, project leadership discipline, vendor coordination skills, and the ability to drive complex application migration activities across business, IT, infrastructure, cybersecurity, integration, service management, and third-party provider teams. This role requires the ability to translate business needs into executable application plans while ensuring business continuity, operational readiness, and alignment with TSA exit milestones. Original Composites & Fiberglass is a business unit of the Praana Group. Original Composites & Fiberglass was recently acquired by the Praana Group. The path ahead will be dynamic, full of change, and expected to be fast paced. The business operates from more than twenty locations across the globe. The information technology environment supporting the new company is being built from the ground up across infrastructure, applications, security, integrations, and support capabilities, creating an opportunity to leverage new technologies and improved ways of working as Original Composites & Fiberglass works to exit the TSA as soon as practical. All IT team members may be assigned IT Engineering responsibilities focused on designing, building, implementing, and maintaining technology systems that support business operations. These assignments ensure secure connectivity, scalable platforms, reliable data flow, effective application support, and business continuity during the separation from Owens Corning and the establishment of Original Composites & Fiberglass’s independent IT environment. Key Responsibilities Manage application transition activities across multiple business domains, including finance, sourcing, supply chain, research and development, manufacturing, legal, human resources, sales, and marketing. Partner with business stakeholders, application owners, IT leaders, vendors, and service providers to define application requirements, transition approach, migration scope, implementation needs, and support models. Lead planning workshops, design discussions, sourcing reviews, readiness reviews, risk reviews, status meetings, and decision forums to keep application migration activities aligned and progressing. Work with sourcing and procurement teams to support vendor selection, contract transition, software licensing, statement of work development, support agreements, and third-party implementation planning. Partner with infrastructure, cybersecurity, identity, integration, data, network, endpoint, and service management teams to ensure migration plans address hosting, connectivity, access, security, monitoring, backup, recovery, compliance, and operational support requirements. Support TSA exit planning by maintaining clear visibility to application transition status, critical path activities, blockers, resource constraints, support readiness, and leadership decisions required to complete separation milestones. Drive implementation readiness by ensuring application environments, integrations, data flows, user access, testing, training, documentation, and support processes are prepared before deployment. Coordinate deployment and cutover activities, including business readiness, technical readiness, communications, go-live support, issue resolution, and transition to steady-state operations. Ensure appropriate operational support models are established for transitioned applications, including ownership, incident management, service request handling, vendor support, monitoring, escalation, and continuous improvement. Prepare executive-ready reporting, dashboards, status updates, decision summaries, and exception reports that clearly communicate progress, risks, readiness, dependencies, and required actions. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 6 to 10 years of experience in IT application delivery, application migration, application implementation, application support, technology transformation, application portfolio management, or enterprise IT leadership roles. Experience leading or managing application migration, divestiture, carve-out, M&A separation, TSA exit, outsourcing transition, or global technology transformation initiatives strongly preferred. Strong understanding of enterprise application landscapes, including SaaS platforms, hybrid applications, on-premises systems, vendor-managed solutions, manufacturing systems, plant-level applications, reporting tools, and business productivity platforms. Experience supporting applications across multiple business domains, including finance, sourcing, supply chain, research and development, manufacturing, legal, human resources, sales, and marketing. Demonstrated ability to lead scoping, sourcing, implementation, deployment, migration, stabilization, and operational support activities across multiple applications and workstreams. Working knowledge of infrastructure, network, identity and access management, cybersecurity, integration, data migration, service management, application support, compliance, and business continuity concepts. Strong vendor management skills, including experience coordinating third-party providers, implementation partners, managed services teams, software vendors, and outsourced IT service providers. Ability to build integrated plans, manage dependencies, sequence migration waves, coordinate cross-functional resources, and drive readiness across business and IT teams. Work Conditions Potential 20% travel required. Due to the team structure, virtual meeting formats, global time zone differences, and appropriate meeting times, extended work hours may be required.
