We're expanding our presence in Australia and looking for a sharp, relationship-driven buyer to grow our regional sourcing network.

About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced ITAD Buyer to source bulk IT equipment — laptops, desktops, servers, networking gear, and mobile devices — from corporate clients, resellers, and brokers across Australia. You'll be responsible for building buyer relationships, negotiating pricing, and ensuring a steady pipeline of quality inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop relationships with corporates, MSPs, resellers, and brokers offloading used/surplus IT equipment
• Negotiate purchase pricing based on market value, condition, and volume
• Evaluate incoming inventory leads for quality, grading, and profitability
• Maintain and grow a network of reliable suppliers across the Australian market
• Track market pricing trends for used IT hardware (laptops, servers, networking equipment, mobile devices)
• Coordinate with logistics/operations teams on pickup, inspection, and processing of purchased assets
• Meet monthly/quarterly purchasing volume and margin targets

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in IT asset buying, ITAD, IT reselling, or related procurement/trading role
• Strong understanding of used IT hardware markets and grading standards
• Existing network of corporate or reseller contacts in Australia (highly preferred)
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working with sourcing/inventory platforms and pricing tools
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with international B2B trading platforms
2. Familiarity with e-waste compliance/regulations in Australia
3. Existing relationships with data destruction or recycling partners
