IT Consultant (Unified Communications & Collaboration (UCC))

Join Henkel and help shape the future of global communication and collaboration. As an IT Consultant – UCC, you will drive the strategy, architecture, and continuous improvement of enterprise communication services that enable employees to connect and collaborate seamlessly from anywhere.

What you´ll do

• Lead the design, evaluation, and implementation of Unified Communications and Audio/Video solutions across a global environment; Ensure solutions align with business requirements, security standards, compliance requirements, and operational processes
• Own and drive the global Microsoft Teams Phone and telephony architecture strategy; Manage telephony infrastructure, carrier integrations, number management, Session Border Controller (SBC) architecture, and long-term technology roadmaps
• Manage end-to-end UCC projects from concept to deployment; Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to oversee planning, change management, process integration, documentation, and operational handovers
• Drive service excellence through effective vendor and service provider management; Monitor SLA and KPI performance, optimize costs, and continuously improve telephony, conferencing, and collaboration services globally
• Develop automation, reporting, and operational tools using PowerShell and related technologies; Improve service reliability, standardization, operational efficiency, and overall user experience across the communication landscape
• Collaborate with global teams to define standards, governance models, and lifecycle strategies for communication technologies; Support Henkel’s Digital Workplace transformation by delivering scalable, secure, and business-focused solutions

What makes you a good fit

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Unified Communications, Collaboration Technologies, or Enterprise IT; ITIL certification and Agile Project Management knowledge are highly desirable
• Strong expertise in Unified Communications & Collaboration (UCC) technologies, including Microsoft Teams Phone, VoIP, Direct Routing, Operator Connect, SBCs, telephony, conferencing, and collaboration platforms; Proven ability to design, implement, and support scalable communication solutions in a global enterprise environment
• Hands-on experience with Audio/Video technologies, including Microsoft Teams Rooms, meeting room solutions, conference systems, and workplace collaboration devices; Skilled in delivering modern workplace experiences that enhance communication, productivity, and user engagement
• Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL), including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Lifecycle Management; Experienced in maintaining service quality, driving continual improvement initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, automation, reporting, and operational tooling; Capable of streamlining processes, improving service reliability, and increasing operational efficiency through automation and standardization
• Strong vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and technical consulting skills; Experienced in SLA/KPI management, service governance, solution design, platform lifecycle management, and collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver business-focused communication services
