The Company

Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dexcom began as a small company with a big dream: To forever change how diabetes is managed. To unlock information and insights that drive better health outcomes. Here we are 25 years later, having pioneered an industry. And we're just getting started. We are broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. That means personalized, actionable insights aimed at solving important health challenges. To continue what we've started: Improving human health.

We are driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate people worldwide who are willing to fight like warriors to earn the trust of our customers by listening, serving with integrity, thinking big, and being dependable. We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions. We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.

Meet the team:

Dexcom's IT Infrastructure organization provides the foundational technology and services that support our global business. We partner closely with Finance, Legal, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and technology vendors to ensure infrastructure purchases and contracts are properly evaluated, approved, ordered, invoiced, tracked, and renewed.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic IT Contract & Lifecycle Specialist to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of our core technology vendors, cloud environments, and digital transaction systems. This role will be the primary gatekeeper for the IT infrastructure contracts, driving the renewal process, tracking critical expiration dates, and ensuring strict vendor compliance.

The role will bridge the gap between IT procurement and technical operations. Focus will be on optimizing relationships with major IT infrastructure providers, SaaS platforms, cloud services, and telco to maximize uptime, reduce financial waste, and mitigate risk.

Where you come in:

  • Lifecycle Tracking: Own and maintain the IT infrastructure contract repository. Proactively track expiration dates, auto-renewal clauses, and termination notice periods.
  • Renewal Execution: Lead the end-to-end renewal process for hardware maintenance, software licenses, and cloud subscriptions, ensuring zero disruption to live digital environments.
  • Commercial Negotiation: Partner with IT leadership to negotiate commercial terms, licensing metrics, and pricing for contract renewals, expansions, and true-ups.

Vendor and Compliance Oversight

  • Vendor Performance: Monitor core infrastructure and payment gateway vendors against agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs), focusing heavily on system uptime and performance.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure all digital infrastructure, server, and payment processing vendors strictly adhere to industry standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001) and internal security policies.
  • Issue Resolution: Act as the primary escalation point for contract disputes, performance degradation, or billing discrepancies with technology partners.

Financial & Operational Optimization

  • Asset Optimization: Analyze software usage data and infrastructure commitments to identify opportunities for license consolidation, elimination of shelfware, and cost-reduction.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT Infrastructure, Legal, Information Security, and Finance teams to align technical contract terms with corporate risk thresholds and budgets

What makes you successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Contract Literacy: Strong ability to interpret complex IT software agreements, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and Cloud Service Provider (CSP) agreements.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of successfully negotiating enterprise software/infrastructure agreements to achieve favorable pricing and terms.
  • Tools: Proficiency with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software, procurement systems (e.g., Coupa, ServiceNow), and spreadsheet modeling for contract cost forecasting. Strong analytical and Excel skills, with the ability to organize, reconcile, analyze, and report purchasing, licensing, and financial information accurately.
  • Organizational Excellence: Exceptional attention to detail to track overlapping infrastructure deployment schedules and maintenance expirations.
  • Clear written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams, suppliers, and senior stakeholders.
  • Willing to work in a US Pacific Time schedule.

Other skills and In-Depth Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with IT Infrastructure technologies and services, including enterprise hardware, software licensing, telecommunications, cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, managed services, maintenance, and professional services.
  • Understanding of Software as a Service subscription models and consumption-based cloud services, including license metrics, usage commitments, renewals, and the commercial differences between subscription and consumption agreements.
  • Understanding of common technology agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, order forms, subscription, cloud service, and support agreements, together with contract management skills covering terms, expiration dates, notice periods, renewal requirements, ownership, pricing, and supporting documentation.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to review quotations and proposals for completeness, pricing accuracy, licensing quantities, service periods, assumptions, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Ability to protect confidential supplier, pricing, contractual, licensing, and financial information, with a proactive, service-oriented approach, strong follow-through, and a continuous-improvement mindset.

What you’ll get:

  • A front row seat to life changing CGM technology. Learn about our brave #dexcomwarriors community.
  • A full and comprehensive benefits program.
  • Growth opportunities on a global scale.
  • Access to career development through in-house learning programs and/or qualified tuition reimbursement.
  • An exciting and innovative, industry-leading organization committed to our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.

Travel Required:

  • 0-5%

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 – 8 years of related experience.
