IT Deployment Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to lead large-scale infrastructure initiatives, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integrations, and new site deployments within a healthcare environment. This individual will manage a team of Implementation Engineers while serving as a hands-on technical leader capable of providing direct implementation support when needed.

The ideal candidate brings comes from experience within healthcare technology project delivery, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and experience overseeing budgets, vendors, and enterprise infrastructure projects. Experience supporting imaging environments and clinical technology implementations is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for infrastructure deployments, M&A integrations, and new facility build-outs.
• Manage project scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, resources, and budgets across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Coordinate infrastructure activities related to mergers and acquisitions, including site readiness, systems integration, and operational transitions.
• Oversee technology implementation efforts for new office and clinical site launches, including hardware procurement, vendor coordination, and go-live readiness.
• Collaborate with clinical, IT, facilities, finance, and executive stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and external vendors, consultants, and service providers.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, executive updates, and post-implementation reviews.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, organizational standards, and industry best practices.
• Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
• Lead cross-functional teams while supporting technical implementation activities as needed.

Technical Responsibilities

Perform or oversee on-site and remote technical activities, including:

• Network and infrastructure deployment
• ISP and low-voltage vendor coordination
• Hardware installation and telecommunications setup
• VPN and connectivity configuration
• Infrastructure testing, validation, and troubleshooting
• Equipment installation, decommissioning, and transition activities
• Coordination of site readiness and technology rollout activities

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project or Program Management experience with a focus on infrastructure deployments and M&A integrations.
• Healthcare industry experience, including familiarity with clinical environments.
• Experience leading office relocations, new facility build-outs, or large-scale site implementations.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking, telecommunications, and hardware deployment.
• Knowledge of Cisco networking equipment and network topology concepts.
• Experience managing budgets, procurement activities, and vendor relationships.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level reporting.
• Experience leading distributed teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Willingness to travel for project milestones, implementations, and site visits.
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance requirements, including HIPAA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting medical imaging or PACS environments.
• Experience with large-scale deployment programs across multiple locations.
• Experience managing implementation engineers, technical project teams, or field deployment resources.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $68.52/hr.
