The Role

Our client is a leading UK-based insurance and financial services organisation, offering a wide range of products and services to individuals and businesses. What you'll do

• Assess and document existing Citrix infrastructure for migration readiness.
• Design and deploy Citrix LTSR 2507 farm including Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, WEM and supporting components.
• Implement high availability PVS and build standard shared desktop images on Windows Server 2022.
• Migrate shared desktop workloads and circa 120 Windows 11 VDIs to the new Citrix environment.
• Optimise Citrix and Group Policies, deploying advanced profile management tools.
• Integrate and configure Citrix ADC/NetScaler for secure access and intelligent load balancing.
• Lead vulnerability remediation through patching, hardening and certificate management in accordance with agreed timelines.
• Plan and execute upgrades within change control processes, complete documentation and stakeholder handovers.

What you bring

• Strong Citrix engineering experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
• Hands-on expertise upgrading Citrix farms alongside Windows Server migrations (2016 to 2022).
• Deep knowledge of Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Director, PVS, MCS, VDAs and Citrix ADC/NetScaler.
• Experience driving security hardening, CVE assessment, patch deployment and remediation validation.
• Proficiency in PowerShell automation, troubleshooting, and incident resolution across Citrix architecture.
• Strong collaboration, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
